RUSTIC MORNINGS AT ISABELO GARDEN

I saw rebelliousbrides.com's post about Rustic Mornings by Isabelo and hurriedly checked out their site. A few minutes later, I found myself sharing the link to our couple friends who are getting married next year and are on the look out for a wedding and/or prenup photo shoot venue that would fit their shabby chic wedding theme. I've also seen it before in a write-up by awesomeplanet.com. Back then Isabelo only opens in the late afternoons until evening and accepts only reservations. So I was pretty much excited to learn that they now allow walk-ins and offer breakfast and lunch.

So one Sunday morning, after going to church with these couple friends of ours, we decided to drive our way to  Marikina using Waze Social GPS Maps & Traffic, which was pretty awesome by the way. Though we got lost a bit because Waze doesn't exactly know where Isabelo Garden is, only the neighborhood where the restaurant is located. But fret not, once you get to near the area of Isabelo Garden  you'll be able to see signs pointing you to the direction of this pretty place.

Upon entering the parking area, a sudden gush of happiness came pouring onto my heart (I'm over-reacting, I know.. I know...lol!) But really, that's how I felt, I even shrieked with too much joy while saying "Yey we're here!!!!"

I couldn't agree more with Cy, the owner of  rebelliousbrides.com, when she said that it was "Love at First Sight". It really is!

Who would have thought a place like this exists in the midst of a city. The whole time I was there, I felt like I was in Tagaytay or Baguio. We were there during lunch time, and the place was packed, but I still didn't feel like it was hot nor humid and as if I was not in Metro Manila.

I just love how the place was set up; especially that some tables are isolated from the others, just like the gazebo where we were seated. We had a 360 degrees view of the whole garden area. So if you're planning a very romantic breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is one place you should consider.

The place was supremely enticing. Believe me when I say, it will make you feel relaxed even on a hot Sunday noon. What I like most about this place is the ambiance that it gives off, owing that to mix of eccentric, usual ad not-so-usual decors. The Isabelo Garden is well adorned with shabby chic-ish, quirky and rustic decors

I also loved how they up-cycled used bottles as decorations to the restaurant.

Rustic Mornings by Isabelo/Isabelo garden is absolutely a great venue for laidback get-togethers with family, friends and with a special someone (*wink).

Below are the photos of the dining areas and mind you; all the dining areas gives that shabby-chic/rustic vibe.

If you want it Al Fresco:

If don't like dining outdoors and prefer to be inside an air-conditioned room:

Now let's talk about the dishes that they offer. Is it as homey as the ambiance of the restaurant? A big YES! You just don’t come to Isabelo Garden just for it's dainty interiors, but also for the food! Check their menu here.

oil for the pizza | tropical blend shake (no sugar added)
fried rice and creamy tomato curry kofta balls
beef ribs and sausage pizza

The food is superb! My only concern is the amount of serving, I just think that it was not enough to feed 2-3 persons... then again, maybe we are just people with big appetites. lol!

Btw, parking is ample, but it may get crowded once visitors come to fill this place on lunch and dinner time. You might get interrupted while you're eating to ask you to move your car. But it's ok, it didn't bother me that much.

Would I go back to Isabelo Garden? Definitely! If it's only a stone's throw away from our place, I would love to go there every weekend.

Our engaged couple friends also loved the place and are considering Isabelo Garden as their wedding venue since they're planning to have a very very intimate wedding; and this place also and totally fit their wedding theme. Our visit to Isabelo Garden was like hitting two birds in one stone, finally being able to check out and dine here and having an ocular visit as well.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading and looking at the photos as much as I did enjoy dining and staying at Isabelo Garden and writing about this experience. ;-)
