Ombre, The Sunkissed Hairstyle

The Ombre hair is one color choice that's still going strong and we all thought it was just a fad. Tired of your usual hairstyle? Then if you are on the lookout for a subtle hair color update, Ombre is the move to do. Or if you prefer to dip your toe into a hair color trend rather than dye your entire head, Ombre is the way to go.

Ombre is the gradual blending of one color hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from light to dark. It has become a popular feature for hair coloring, nail art, and even baking, in addition to its uses in home decorating and graphic design. The ombre hair coloring technique is defined as when your hair color gradually blends from one color to another. It comes from the French word that means “shadow” or “shade”. There's really no particular shade to follow, you can go as crazy as using unicorn colors but as long as they fade into the other you're ok.

My hair has been subjected to a lot of hair coloring and I DIY the dyeing so most of the time I just put the hair dye all over my hair. I moat often than not disregard the fact that I need to put the dye at the roots first, let it sit for a while before applying the remaining dye to the rest of my hair. So the end product the color is uneven and it looks like I have highlights and the end of the hair is lighter than that of the hair at the crown. Thus, it looks like I have ombre weave hair.

But because of that torture that I subject my hair at least 4 times a year, the tips are so dry. I can't shower using just only shampoo. I tend to use more conditioner than usual so as to soften my hair and make it more manageable. Or else I won't be able to comb it even. I know I did really had my hair ombre'd it will fall off like crazy because it would be so damaged.

Good thing there are alternatives nowadays to achieve certain hairstyles without ruining your own hair. Options include using hair chalks, blonde ombre weave or temporary hair dyes or if you want go crazy with red ombre weave. With these safe ways you don't have to worry about damaging or completely ruining your manes. You can wear them straight or curled, up to you!

I personally love the balayage style as it uses hues of brown and ash. Maybe one of these days I'll get bored and do like a black-silver/blue ombre, who knows. But for now I'm good with what my hair is looking nowadays. What about your thoughts loves?
