Last Oct 19 2014 I dropped by the BDJ Fair 2014 at SM MOA Music Hall, but this time around I was alone. Lol! This is because my sister Hazel, my brother's girlfiend Cess and my sister-from-another-mother Daryl Linn was not available.

Unlike the other BDJ Fairs where you need to register first via email, this mega event was open to everyone! Well, except for the talks which you need to sign up weeks or days prior and must present an email confirmation that you have been included in the list.

Welcome To The World Of Cartoons!

Whoever didn't love cartoons when they were kids??? I, for one, was and still is an avid cartoon watcher. I remember before and after going to school would always watch cartoons on TV and I was often scolded by my parents because of that since I often times comes to school almost late because I would still finish my fave cartoon show before I prepare for school. Then after coming from school I will immediately open the TV to watch cartoons instead of doing my homework  hahahahaha! I bet many of you can relate to that!

Now that I am older I still find it comforting to watch cartoons, th8e little kid inside of me still lingers. I was a great fan of Disney, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Simpsons, X-men, Justice League, etc. And there are times that when I flip channels and get to see a cartoons show that catches my attention I would usually stop on that channel and watch it for a few minutes. It's cool to re-live your childhood days right?

If you have been a constant visitor of my blog, you perfectly know that I am such an  online shopping addict, but most of the time I just go "online window shopping", if there's a such term. Persiana: Casual Mediterranean Dishes

One of the many things I love to do is to eat, and most often than  not we share the same taste in food. One of our fave international cuisine is Persian and/or Mediterranean food. We have tried out several places to get our Persian/Mediterranean food fix around the metro and unfortunately only a few stands out.

Since most of the Persian/Mediterranean restaurants in Manila are quite expensive, owing to the fact that most spices that are authentic are imported abroad, we usually get disappointed when trying out new places that serves Persian/Mediterranean cuisine. That's why we often go to Mister Kabab, which is very affordable and closest we can get a taste of this cuisine.

It’s fun to know that more and more people are getting into putting a theme into their parties or events and start to veer away from the traditional boring ones. Having a themed party doesn’t only engage your guests but it makes it more memorable and enjoyable.

Last August, I was able to help a friend of mine to style her daughter’s 1st Birthday Party. It was my first time to style a birthday party and I must say it’s more easier to accomplish than a wedding; because there are less details in a birthday party than a wedding. It’s also a plus point if the parents of the birthday celebrant (or the engaged couple, if it’s a wedding) are very engrossed,  trust the event stylist and open to ideas as well (instead of having no input at all). That’s what I love about Zharina, the mom of the birthday celebrant, baby Erin.
