Feel Like A Girly-Girl with Fashionmia Dresses

What things make you feel like a true girl? Is it wearing make up? Is it constantly wearing dresses? Is it growing your hair long? Is it wearing earrings and other jewelries? Is it when you receive flowers and chocolates?

As for me, I feel the girliest when I wear dresses. Nowadays I rarely wear dresses to work because our work place is  quite cold and I easily shiver. So I always end up donning trousers and blouses. But on weekends, if I have something to do or somewhere go to; a dress is usually my first choice to wear.

Charito By Bag of Beans Tagaytay

It's very rare that I go out of town nowadays but when one of crazy friends invited me to go  on an impromptu trip to the mountains of Tagaytay I can't say no even if I get agitated with unplanned trips. We both needed it since we're a bit burned out from work and everyday life actually.

It was just a short day trip but you know how and what just a few hours away from the city and a change in atmosphere can do to a tired body and mind. Seeing all that greenery, enjoying the cool mountain breeze and inhaling fresh air (is the air in Tagaytay still fresh?) can somewhat ease the s-t-r-e-s-s!

Rosegal.com Romper/Jumpsuit Wishlist

I have told myself quite a handful of times that I will not wear or buy rompers or jumpsuits. At first I convinced myself that it wont look good on me and it'll be a bit of a hassle to wear them. But when I finally decided to  buy and try one out, I really liked them and they became like a drug that's so addicting.

A romper is originally a young child's one-piece outer garment. But for adults it is a  garment typically worn as overalls or as sports clothing. It is an odd mix between a top and a dress and most often worn by women nowadays. They used to be a piece of clothing, originally referred to the functional one-piece garments used by parachuters/skydivers. More recently, it has come to be used as a common term for any one-piece garment with sleeves and legs.

Hard Gel Nail Polish by Kitchenails

Hey loves! Have you ever tried hard gel polish? Well I am ashamed to say that it's only recently that I got the chance to try it. It's been creating a buzz for quite some time now but yeah I am glad that I finally had the chance to try them, thanks to Kitchenails!

Kitchenails is a kitchen/bakery inspired nail salon with branches in Alabang Town Center and Trinoma Mall. I've been going there monthly for my nail care and pampering sesh. I love it there because not only that the place smells so yummy but also because I love how accommodating and professional their nail chefs (technicians) are.

Continuing the Legacy: CPK Pizza Wars 2016, Now on its Second Run!

Making pizza is not a job, it’s a passion – Staying true to its roots of California creativity, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) reaffirms its legacy and brand promise of a culinary adventure with the second run of CPK Pizza Wars, its annual in-house Pizza Chef competition.

“California Pizza Kitchen has distinguished itself as a pizza authority attributable to its wide selection of innovative and artisanal pizzas. But more importantly, the secret behind the success of CPK here is, of course, the people behind it. Which is why, apart from showcasing the talents of our pizza cooks who are equally passionate about food as we are, we wanted to challenge them to take their culinary skill to the next level. And sure enough, they have proven to be up to that challenge,” said Archie Rodriguez, President and CEO of Global RestaurantConcepts, Inc. (GRCI).

Take EricDress To Your Homecoming

Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back alumni of a school. It is a tradition in many universities, colleges and high schools especially in the United States. By the way, Homecoming should not be confused with prom, as they occur at different times of the year. Homecoming usually occurs in the fall, and prom usually occurs in the spring.

And for sure you are already looking forward to the Homecoming dance which is the culminating event of the week (for high schools). Since it can be formal or informal event  the Homecoming dance attire is more semi-formal than prom. Women may wear short homecoming dresses or long dresses depending on what outfit ideas they have in mind. But it’s almost end of Summer  in the Northern hemisphere, and Fall or Autumn comes next so I know some of you are already preparing for your Homecoming 2014 events.

Cubanos Fil-Cuban Cantina

I am not really familiar with Cuban cuisine; there aren't a lot of Cuban restaurants in Manila that I know of. So when one of my college best buddies invited me to try her brother's newest restaurant venture serving Cuban-Filipino fusion cuisine, I was pretty excited about it especially that I will finally be able to taste Cuban cuisine for the first time with two of my best college buds.

Cubanos Fil-Cuban Cantina is the newest venture of the men behind Tipsy Pig Gastropub's mouthwatering dishes: Chef Jared Sto. Tomas and Chef Rainier Barbers. Cuban cuisine is a blend of Native American food, Spanish, African, and Caribbean cuisines. Some Cuban recipes share spices and techniques with Spanish and African cooking, with some Caribbean influence in spice and flavor. But with Cubanos, they fused it with some well-loved Filipino dishes and other personal favorites.

Sea, Sand and Beach Wedding Dresses

A beach wedding is actually my dream wedding and if I get to have another wedding I might pursue that dream of mine. That will surely be an ultimate occasion. Thinking about it now, I can already feel a calmness in my spirit. The feeling of walking barefoot on sand, wearing a very flowy and lightweight wedding dress, the waves crushing on the shore as the background music, the warm summer sea breeze hitting my skin and the sunset as the venue backdrop - ahhhh... what a complete euphoria!
A beach wedding can be the most relaxed type of wedding. Everyone can come as they are, the guests can wear the most comfiest clothes, be in their flip-flops or go barefoot if they want to, eat a lot of grilled items and seafood and just have a good freaking time without the pressure of following any standard rule. It'll be the best occasion for both the couple and the guests for sure.

Crop It Like It's Hot

This past year and up until now I've been seeing a lot of crop tops taking the fashion arena by the storm. Everywhere I look or when I browse online, women are sporting this trend that reminds me somewhat of the 90s era where midribs were the in thing. I was a kid or teen back then and a chubby one at that which didn't allow me to wear one back in the day. Well up until now that is still the case so I still couldn’t wear them. But yeah if I had the body I would.

Crop tops are clothing items where the lower part is falls high enough to expose the waist, navel or some of the mid section of the torso. It is generally limited to female garments, but if men want to wear them, no one's going to stop them hahaha!

Exile Creamerie Co.

Being in exile is a situation in which you are forced to leave a place and go live in a foreign place. This might sound a bit harsh, but there are times when you get that feeling to just leave everything behind and go somewhere where you know nobody or to place you have no idea how to traverse. Or being in exile may mean going to your safe or happy place and just be alone away from the noises of this world. And maybe, just maybe, you will meet new faces who will make you feel like you're not lost in this crazy life.

Speaking of exile, I was recently invited to this hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Katipunan, Q.C. which happens to be named Exile on Main St. This branch is their second and the first one is in Malate. Both (though I haven'tbeen tothe Malate branch) exudes a different kind of world with its interior design. It's like going through that rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland.
