What kind of traveler are you? Are you the backpacker type or the luxury traveler? I for one would be in the middle of the two. I can't see myself going on a vacation just bringing a single bag with me especially if it's a long trip. I would usually tow a mini luggage, a carry on and my handbag. That's because I don't want the feeling that I might left something at home.
I also plan what I would wear from day 1 and so on and not just wear what I would pull from my suitcase and just go on with whatever what I have in there. I also bring more, at least 2 extra pairs of outfit or clothing just in case I don’t feel like wearing the ones that I have planned for that day. I always come prepared and yeah I am quite vain like that. It's what's left of my O.C.-ness.
Oh hey there Summer! I can already feel you! I know you're just around the corner waiting for the right time to go full blown. Guess what? I'm excited for you! And I am preparing for you! See you soon ok? ~ Your avid lover, Jen. Well, I already have a couple of plans for summer trips to the beach or any out of town venture. I just hope they'll materialize, as I do not want to let summer pass by that I don’t get to sink my feet onto some beautiful white fine sand. How about you guys? Are you excited about spring and summer? I hope you are as much as I am.
Like I said I came prepared. I already did some summer outfit shopping back in December as there are so many sales and promotions at that time that I know I can't miss them. Grabbed a couple of swimsuits, sundresses and other stuff from several online shops. So let me share them with you all and these items, I got them from Rosegal.com
When you’re stress with life and all the unfavorable things that go with it, sometimes you just want to take a breather. In my case, it’s either I go out with friends to eat out or travel. Also, as for me and my truest and closest friends know what I (or shall I say we) usually do some retail therapy. I don’t know what makes a girl with low emotions to feel happy when she does some retail therapy. Probably I just love pretty things or maybe it’s just a girl thing, I don’t know, really.
Though I do something like that when my moods are not high, I still do it in a budget-friendly way. As you all may well know, I am quite a fan of online shopping and shopping per se. I usually do a lot of buying and doing other things via online, even paying bills and others. It’s very convenient for me and I can do it even when I’m on the go.
The Ombre hair is one color choice that's still going strong and we all thought it was just a fad. Tired of your usual hairstyle? Then if you are on the lookout for a subtle hair color update, Ombre is the move to do. Or if you prefer to dip your toe into a hair color trend rather than dye your entire head, Ombre is the way to go.
Ombre is the gradual blending of one color hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from light to dark. It has become a popular feature for hair coloring, nail art, and even baking, in addition to its uses in home decorating and graphic design. The ombre hair coloring technique is defined as when your hair color gradually blends from one color to another. It comes from the French word that means “shadow” or “shade”. There's really no particular shade to follow, you can go as crazy as using unicorn colors but as long as they fade into the other you're ok.
I love weddings… I think it’s one of the most special life events a person can experience. A wedding is a ceremony where two people who deeply love one another are united in marriage. In every culture there are different wedding traditions but the essence will always be that it is a celebration of love – of which doesn't only end with the couple getting married, but also the people that surround them and who made them who they are today.
I still believe, though, that everyone should have a more beautiful marriage than a beautiful wedding. I mean what does it matter if you had an extravagant wedding but the marriage is always on the rocks? But of course, I still understand if as much as possible they want it to be a memorable day for everyone who will stand witness to when they profess to the world their love for each other.
Our hair will always be our crowning glory. Hair loss can really affect a woman’s confidence and self-esteem and in turn, it really does have a negative impact on their lives. We all know when you look good you feel good and exude confidence in all aspects of your life. I have done so many things to my hair and thank goodness it hasn't give up on me just yet. No matter how much I torture my hair it still is one of my best assets.
I wish I can change my hairstyle once in awhile, if I have the courage I would cut it into a long bob or just a bob. Are you like me? Then keep calm and don’t cut your hair right away! Just like your wardrobe, your hairstyle needs occasional update, but we ladies often go to the extremes when we feel that something has to change in our lives, and our hair often takes a toll. Instead of rushing to the hairdresser’s like there’s no tomorrow, play with your hair. For all you know, you might be an expert. Let your creativity go through the roof and spice up your day.
In this side of the world, Summer is just around the corner, trips to the beach or somewhere to cool off the summer heat is about to get non-stop. If you haven’t got the chance to shop for your Summer ensembles, start your summer wardrobe shopping now. I've done that so myself, because I am someone who doesn't want to post her photos or go somewhere wearing the same clothes over and over again.
I'm not high-maintenance whatsoever, I just love clothes and all the pretty little things in this world. As much as possible we all want to enjoy the Summer season, and making sure, at the same time, that we’re wearing comfortable clothes. But for us girls, we make it a point to still look hip even if we’re all sweaty or getting baked under the Summer sun.
Ahhh Valentine's Day, maybe you'll love it more or at least hate it less, as for me, I'm neutral to it. I mean, why can't we make it a year-round celebration of love and life? Why only commemorate it once a year when you can make everyday a Valentine's Day.
February 14th is oh so-quietly creeping up on us, it's buzzing with a mix of excitement, dread, and indifference. Valentine’s Day has become a fairly commercialized holiday, filled with cards, flowers, chocolates all aptly delivered by your significant other or friends or families, just in the name of love.
Swooning? I get it! Being in love is one of the best feelings in the world, don't you agree? It makes you head over heels for someone and all things are like looking through a rose-colored glasses. This idiom means literally as glasses that are tinted in a pink or rose shade and figuratively means an optimistic perception of something; a positive opinion; seeing something in a positive way, often thinking of it as better than it actually is.
And oh yeah, pink, is also a color that is associated with love and Valentine's Day. With that being said and if you need to put up an outfit for your V-Day celebrations, here my wish list to get your feelings stirred even more. Romantic pinks perfect for the season of love!
Do you need to slay for Valentine's Day outfit? Whether it's a date with your S.O. or just going out with friends, here's my Zaful wishlist to help you out in picking your V-Day #OOTD. We know, that you might be a little bit nervous to go for a date on a Valentine's Day. What are the expectations of your girlfriend, how will she feel when she sees you. First of all, you need to feel good in your shoes. Not literally, but you need to be confident and proud, to take her on a date. Make sure, you also pick a right outfit.
Be careful, to choose clothes, that will make HER look like a queen. Go with something casual and strong. Hide your insecurities with some hoodies or go for a shirt that will bold out your perfect body. Also, don't forget for a right perfume! With some accessories, like an artificial leather braid bracelet, you will show her your masculinity and also your pretty side.
I love streaming and listening to music online especially on Spotify and most often than not I listen to a playlist. Last weekend, I woke up at dawn and decided to play some soothing music so as not to disturb the neighbors and I ended up listening to this compilation of acoustic covers. Normally I am doing something else when listening to music and I don’t really pay attention to the lyrics of the song. While I was at pause and thinking about what to write for the current review I was composing, a song was playing, then out of nowhere the lyrics of the song caught my attention.
The song’s title is “When You Love Someone” by British singer-songwriter James TW. The song’s melody is a bit upbeat, the melody is centered on an acoustic guitar, which is played in a light manner and features a repetitive rhythm. The song is from the standpoint of a set of parents, who are trying to explain their divorce to their adolescent son. It’s a difficult subject, but the uplifting melody and the sincere vocal balances the all too familiar tale of families being torn apart.
While everyone is still hangover the holidays, this lady right here is already daydreaming about the summer... sun rays hitting my face in a soft subtle way, sea breeze caressing my skin all over, oh I can't wait to be at my happy place once more. I think summer's going to be early this year since by the time it hits the New Year, the weather turned all sunny and humid in a blink of an eye. Usually it is still chilly in January to February, not the case this time around.
Living in a country located in the tropics, you know that no matter what happens it will always be 365 days of summer. Even during the monsoon season, you can find people in my country going to the beach or having some pool party. I remember just last year that my officemates and I went swimming 3 times during the rainy season. Because of that, I always want to be ready with apparel that is stylishly ready for any beach trip or pool swimming party.
Hey there 2018! How's everybody's New Year’s celebrations? Hope you had a good one! We're already on the second week of the New Year and the festive feeling of the holidays has died down, because yeah, we're all back to work! Bummer, I know... But a new year is something that we have to be all grateful for. I mean it's always a fresh start right? And we should all keep our heads up high for all the brighter things this year has in store for us.
As for me, I'm still in a festive mood! Even at work I am still in it hahaha! Kinda slugging it still, finding my groove back. And I'm still accepting Christmas gifts until the end of February! Just kidding! Nah! I just received some packages in the mail last weekend and felt like they're presents that just came in late because of the busyness of the holiday season.
I'm amazed at how time flies if you're enjoying life at its fullest. Can you believe it that we're already halfway through the first month of the New Year?! I mean, hello, I'm pretty sure that it was just Christmas a while ago. Now we're looking forward to February. And what does February big about? Valentine's Day!
Even before, I was never a fan of this holiday, whether or not that this holiday I'm in a relationship or not. But what I like about is that there's a lot of sale and promos during this time. Even my fave online stores are celebrating by having their rosegal valentines day 2018. So if you're big on V day then you should check out the rosegal valentines gifts 2018.
How time flies so fast...we're already on our second week of January, and at the blink of an eye it's already February. And what is February always known for? Valentine’s Day! I have heard thru the grapevine that there's an upcoming zaful valentine's day deals and this favorite site of mine is having a zaful valentines day sale 2018. I'm excited about it, how about you?
I totally love Zaful because of their very fashion forward, chic and trendy items. I would say that, amongst all the online stores that I regularly visit, Zaful complements my clothing style. A lot of their designs are items that I would wear in a heartbeat!
I have always wanted to cut my hair short or like a long bob, because I am kinda tired of sporting long locks because of the tedious process that I go through everyday just to keep it looking great. On some days I really like to see what I would look like with shorter hair without actually cutting my hair because I am too afraid to cut it short and if it doesn't fit me I have to go with the ordeal of waiting for it to grow back again. But thank heavens for available alternatives nowadays since it gives us the ability to change our hairstyles and look without really doing anything.
In the world that we live in, wherein synthetic products proliferate the market, we always want to use something that is natural or more so the real thing. Have you guys heard of 100 human hair which uses real hair from people? Yes they are made of real human hair so that the wigs and/or weaves look like it is really your hair. But don't worry these real human hair has gone through rigorous inspection and proper processing before they are made into wigs/weaves.
It's starting to get hot and sunny; winter season was short and summer's just around the corner. I love summer and it's my favorite season of the year. I just hope that this year's summer heat will just be normal and won't be so humid and won't send me off crazy land. I don't want to complain, if only I am at the beach then that won't be a problem. Summer in the city can be very daunting.
I go to work doing graveyard shifts in my semi-business casual wardrobe 5 times a week. I try to stay cool as possible (both for the body and for my wits) by wearing knee-length dresses or my forever go-to chiffon tops. I also try to wear light-colored, loose and lightweight clothes. Although there is no certainty that wearing light-colored apparel can regulate body temperature during the hot season and when sun exposure is at its highest. But it definitely pleasing to look at and somehow cool down one's senses.
Hello and welcome, 2018, the year when things start looking up for you. Now that the glitter and the pomp of the holiday celebrations have finally died down, it’s time to put those New Year resolutions to the test. Whether you plan to lose weight or simply develop good habits, health should definitely be a major goal for most ladies. Darlings, we want to stay beautiful, glamorous, and radiant, and for that sake, we must take a look at our bad habits and find a way to toss them out and replace them with better ones. If you want to bring out the best in you and start a journey to a healthier lifestyle, we’ve got a few tips to help right here.
Be smart about dieting
The reason most diets fail is because people go about them the wrong way. While you might be feeling determined about cutting down on sugar completely and eating only cooked meals, your body will fight you every step of the way. Why does this happen? Because the change you made is very drastic, so your body goes into “starvation mode” and slows your metabolism to a crawl. Extreme hunger pangs start plaguing you, so holding onto your diet plan becomes even more difficult. Instead of switching up everything in your life within a day, try a slower approach and, above all, make sure it’s practical. If you don’t know how to cook, don’t make meal plans consisting of foods that you would need hours to figure out how to prepare. Switch a sugary snack with some fruit, eat more veggies with your chicken, abstain from one can of soda and drink water. Go slow until you teach your body to start enjoying healthy stuff.
Ever since I heard and read about Calaguas Group of Islands back in 2010, I've been wanting to go there. I was enticed by the idea of a long stretch of fine powdery white sand beach with turquoise blue waters; just like Boracay, sans the establishments, large crowds and loud music coming from bars. When I think of the beach, I see it as a sanctuary, a place where I can rest all my worries, watch the sunrise and sunset, my feet playing with the sand and just be carefree. I go to the beach for serenity that's why I would rather choose a beach that is chill rather than where I could party. I mean, I can always party here in Manila if I wanted to.
I've made a couple of attempts to go to Calaguas for years but continuously failed to do so. Earlier this year my officemates planned this trip and we excitedly looked forward to Thanksgiving Day for the realization of the trip. It was a long journey by land but we made each moments to be remembered. Just like what one of my friends said, one scene equated/amounted to 50 laughter. We encountered lots of adventures and adversaries. I can't even find where to start relating the stories, likely that I'll mention some as I write the memoirs of this trip.

Hey It's the new year! Everyone's like out with old and in with new. I like it when it's New Year because it gives us all a sense of fresh start and that feeling of being hopeful and all. Like all of us are keeping are eyes on the brighter things up ahead of us.
What something new have you done for the New Year? When I came to work last Tuesday, I found that 2 of my officemates have new hair dos. One cut her hair into a Lob (long bob) and one had her hair professionally straightened. As for me I dyed my hair into super ash brown and it is super light with streaks of gray. New year, new looks for the win! Right?!
