Nothing in this life is more important than your physical health. Not least because taking care of your body should enable you to enjoy greater levels of comfort in daily life.
Are you still failing to achieve the desired comfort despite making a conscious effort? It’s likely that very simple issues are holding you back. If you’re guilty of the following, addressing them ASAP could be the key to quick and sustained results.
God didn’t create women to be the same, like every person in the world is unique. For me personally, if the world would be that all the person are the same, I will find it a really boring world to live in. I’m glad women comes in all shapes and sizes and different with each other – their likes, their style, their abilities, and all that what-nots.
Body image change from time to time. In the past, like in the renaissance era, women who have more flesh or curves on them were found sexier than those who are slender. As time passes, society favored those who are skinny – especially when the boom of fashion supermodels came to age.
For a while now, kitchens have been the most important rooms in any house. This is where the family gathers to prepare delicious food, where couples come to grab a glass of wine after a long day and where kids sneak in to steal a cookie or two. Many kids use kitchens to do their homework; people watch each other do magic with simple ingredients; and friends share midnight secrets—all of those kitchen activities can be made better with a kitchen that’s filled with comforting natural elements. If you want to add a touch of Mother Earth to your kitchen, here are a few ideas to consider:
Use earthy colors
Probably the easiest way to make your kitchen more peaceful and natural is to update your wall color. If you’re craving a soothing place where you can experiment with dishes and enjoy them, consider nature-inspired colors like neutral, earthy tones. Think taupe, beige, gray and greige—all of these have a calming aura. No matter if you’re choosing to go a simple route with paint for your walls, or if you want to add a touch of interest with tiles, wallpaper or even wooden or stone panels, opt for colors that are commonly present in nature, and you’ll manage to create a wonderfully relaxing backdrop for all your kitchen activities.
Every year millions of pieces of furniture end up discarded in landfills, thanks to our consumerist fast-fashion mindset. Unfortunately, most of these pieces could be salvaged with just a little effort and extra love. So, before you throw out that well-used sofa or that old dresser your grandmother left you, maybe consider giving it a modern makeover instead. Even if you don’t have old furniture of your own, there are plenty of places where you can buy second-hand furniture you can easily transform.
Where to look for old furniture
If you feel like giving DIY a shot, but you don’t have any old furniture lying around, there are plenty of places here in Australia where you can get some for a bargain. Cruise your local thrift stores, flea markets or antique shops for high quality gems, or browse the internet for ads on Craigslist. You can even hunt for treasure on local Facebook community pages. Also, don’t underestimate yard sales and estate sales, who knows what gems you may find there. Just make sure the pieces are high quality, like solid wood or metal, and be careful when looking for structural damages. Missing hardware and chips aren’t that problematic, but a rotten frame is pretty much unsalvageable.
