MOS Japanese Burger - Flagship Store at Robinson's Galleria

There have been many claims about the origin of the hamburger, but it remains unclear. Many people claim that they invented it but one of the concretes truths, is that this dish dates back to 1758. Another truth about burgers is that it is well-loved in the Western world and the fondness for it has spread through the Far East as well. A lot of people have made their versions of the burger as well, but the basic burger has always been 2 slices of bread and a patty in between.

Here in Asia, burger has also been a daily food staple and Asian countries have put their own spin to it. For example, is the Japanese burger brand M.O.S. Burger. M.O.S. stands for mountain, ocean and sun. 'M' stands for Mountain - dignified and noble, 'O' stands for Ocean - wide and vast and 'S' stands for sun - vibrant and life-giving.

The Top 10 Camping Festivals In The World

Music, fun, camping, and all the good things come alive at camping festivals. It’s lively and pure fun, which is why many of these festivals draw huge crowds year after year. They’re a great way to spend a vacation and have a blast! Or even take some time off work and chill to the mul-ti-day party atmosphere that these festivals build.

It is worth noting that many festivals have moved their usual dates this year, given the corona-virus/Covid 19 pandemic fears. If you choose to travel to any festival in a few months, please be mindful of local and regional health warnings.

Whats New With Frank x Dean?

If you have been to BGC, or working or living around that area, I’m pretty sure you have heard about this café called Frank and Dean. I know Frank and Dean and have been there a couple of times, but I remember it as a hipster-ish all-day breakfast store featuring Southwestern USA dishes plus their speakeasy hidden behind one of its doors. I’ve even blogged about it back in 2016: Frank x Dean: Coffee, Chicken, Pizza and Speakeasy.

Today, it has moved from its long home to its newest residence at Net Plaza on 31st Street but still in BGC. It’s still in our neighborhood (I call it my neighborhood too because I’ve been working in BGC since 2015), but with a revamped breath of fresh air look, sized down menu and focusing majorly on coffee.

Secret Bar: Alibi Manila

People have different ways of coping with stress. Some do arts and crafts, some read, some travel, some go to the spa or do pampering, some sleep and some go out for a couple of drinks. With the current situation of the world, it’s not hard for us to get easily stressed and agitated. With all the city lock downs happening in the world, people are finding ways on how to spend their time while in community quarantine.

For some people who find it de-stressing through social drinking, this lock down accompanied with the state-wide liquor-ban, that doing social drinking and even drinking at home would be impossible. Plus, doing so might be very insensitive on your part. Because you know, people are worried and as much as possible they want to rest at home and get some peace and quiet. Plus, any gathering outside of your house (like drinking on the streets which is a common Pinoy thing), would be a violation of the quarantine.

With an eye to Ultherapy in London

Have you considered how important eyebrows are for framing the face? Eyebrows structure the face and they allow you to express yourself and communicate more effectively. Eyebrows add symmetry to a visage and can enhance features.

If you’re considering a little lift for the face, perhaps starting with the eyebrows is a good beginning. By getting Ultherapy in London, you’ll be able to lift and tighten the skin on the upper eyelids as well as in the area of your eyebrows. Ultherapy can be used on your forehead too, which in turn gives a natural lift to the eyebrow skin.

Super Sulit KBBQ at Geonbae - Tomas Morato

Life as we know it has come to a halt. If you know me, you know that I love going out with friends on weekends, most of the time to east our or attend foodie events. All travels and events have been cancelled, I’m working from home now and stayed put over the weekend (and probably until after this crisis has been contained).

What’s happening now can be tedious and scary, but we must do our social and moral duties and discipline ourselves to follow the laid-out rules of our government’s interventions. More specially to set aside our political beliefs because it is beyond that now.

When Do You Need A Dental Implant and What Is The Treatment Like?

What exactly are dental implants and what is the mechanism they’re based on? Dental implants are introduced surgically. They are fixed into the bone of the jaw to provide a static fixing interface for a dental prosthesis. Depending on your individual need of tooth reconstruction this can be for example a bridge, a crown or a denture. The body is capable of wonderful things in terms of healing and adaptation: osseointegration is the name given to the process of the bone forming a connection with the dental implant’s material, allowing it to act like a live tooth, and bind strongly to the jaw. A dentist offers many treatments using dental implants in Sydney CBD.

When would a dental implant be good for you?
If you experience difficulties due to discomfort or pain when chewing foods of a more rigid texture, if you have missing teeth, or have loose dentures, you might require a dental implant. Dental implants are only suitable for you if your oral tissues are in good health and without gum disease, the bone of your jaw has got to its maximum growth, you do not have any diseases that may affect bone healing (e.g. osteoporosis, a condition manifesting in a significant reduction in bone density, mineral content and healing capabilities), and have appropriate bone for fixing your dental implants.

Updated: Crisostomo - Turn of the Century Filipino Dining

I’m pretty sure every Filipino knows Dr. Jose P. Rizal and some of his works. He is after all, the Philippines’ national hero; the government named streets, structures et al after him, so I don’t know how if anyone in The Philippines doesn’t know him is beyond me. He even has a statue in Spain and halls in other parts of the world in honor of his name. And one of his greatest works is Noli Me Tangere or Touch Me Not in English.

Noli Me Tangere was first published in Berlin, Germany in 1887 during the colonization of the Philippines by Spain, and described the perceived inequities of the Spanish Catholic priests and the ruling government. Noli Me Tangere and its sequel El Filibusterismo centers to a protagonist named Juan Crisóstomo Ibarra y Magsalin, a Filipino-Spanish and the only descendant of the wealthy Spaniard who spent his adolescence studying in Europe. When he got back to the Philippines he learned how his father was set up, imprisoned and later died due to the stories whipped up by the friars. Which became the turning point of him joining the revolution together with his friend Elías against the Spanish government and the Catholic church.

Slay Any Event with Elegant Dresses

Life as we know it has come to a halt. If you know me, you know that I love going out with friends on weekends, most of the time to eat out or attend foodie events. All travels and events have been cancelled, because of what is happening to the world because of the unknown enemy that is taking over the world. I’m working from home now and stayed put over the weekend (and probably until after this crisis has been contained).

But I am very much hopeful. I’m looking forward to the day that all these will be just a thing of the past that we have learned something from. We will all be able to get back to our normal lives, meet up with family and friends again, enjoying the things that we love to do. Just like attending events, traveling and eating out.

Is Buying A Vacation Property The Right Move For You?

Before you go ahead and spend your hard earned cash on a vacation home, there are a few things you should know. Buying a vacation property is a huge expense and something you need to make sure is right for you before you go ahead. Below, we’ll go through a few things that could help you to figure out if this is a good idea. Take a look!

How Often Do You Visit?
Perhaps you visit the place often enough and you think that it warrants buying your own place there. A house is still a house, and there are still year round responsibilities that you have to carefully consider. You may only visit there a few weeks or even months out of the year, but it’ll often cost you as much if not more than your first house. You’ll also feel really guilty if you vacation elsewhere, so this means you’ll likely avoid visiting and enjoying new places.
