Everyday Fashion Essential Thing for Women

In the contemporary society, fashion is an essential thing for women because it helps them show their culture, values, beliefs, and membership in a specific group. However, fashion trends have been changing since the ancient period. For example, in the olden period, the society believed that fashion belonged to high class people who were always attending parties. However, this thinking and views about fashion has changed with time, thus allowing individuals from different social backgrounds to also enjoy fashion. The society has many people specializing in fashion design to satisfy the needs of people from different backgrounds. Therefore, this article will highlight the everyday fashion essential things for women.

Shoes
For women to keep up with the changing fashion, they need to have different types of shoes including ballet flats, strap sandals, black heels, and running shoes. Ballet flats are extremely comfortable and helpful when heels cannot do anymore. Strap sandal is a contemporary fashion that most women use to assist them get through summer. As well, black heels is a necessary fashion for women since they can wear them during various occasions including when going to the office, for a date or funeral among others. Similarly, women need running shoes since it is a convenient fashion for exercising, going to the gym, hiking and exploring new places.

Manila Creamery- Gelato made the Manila way

They say you can't buy happiness, but they also say you can buy ice cream and it is basically the same thing. But what if the ice cream is gelato? Then happiness is more like nirvana. Yasss? Earlier this week I was invited to try some of MNL Creamery's gelato flavors at the Cinema floor of U.P. Town Center. It was gloomy that night and rained so hard, but who can say no to a gelato taste fest and a trip to the ninth fold of heaven?

Manila Creamery is the only Filipino Inspired Gelato Company. Most of the stores that offer gelato in the metro strive to achieve the authentic Italian gelato flavors but MNL Creamery is a unique brand but still aims to achieve the goodness and quality of the real-deal gelato.

Shawarma Bros Now Open at U.P. Town Center

Shawarma Bros started as a food truck business, I've seen them in Rockwell and Capitol Commons before. H2004 Ventures Inc. was formed in 2012 by five Ateneo friends who wanted to undertake a food business together. Four of the five co-owners (Abraham Castro, Gabriel Sobrepena, Joey Reyes and Rammy de Claro) were classmates since Ateneo High School while Paolo Layug was an adopted member of the group when they met in college.

Early in the planning stage, they initially wanted to franchise a buffalo wings place. However, circumstances steered them in the direction of creating their own brand with a distinctively unique selling proposition instead – cooking and selling from a Food Truck. 3 years later they have their very own concept restaurants one in BGC and one in Pasig City.

Cold Season Must-Haves from Newchic.com

I can already feel the chill in the air... Since the month started to end in "ber" everyone knows it is the signal of the cold season. Though it doesn't get super cold nor snow here in my country, when the year hits the last quarter the temperature still drops low. And I am not a person who can tolerate super cold weather that easy.
When this happens I turn to wearing clothes that will keep me warm all day and all night long. My go to apparel for the cold season is either doing layers, I still wear my chiffon tops and just throw in a faux leather jacket or a cardigan over them. I wear less dresses and skirts too.

Oh To Be Young Again!

No matter how old a person is, one will always be a kid at heart. And I admit I am one of those people who when put in an opportunity to feel like a kid again will jump right into it. When it comes to amusement parks, I am an ok fan. I like amusement parks, but I’m a coward when it comes to rides especially the ones that will push me to scream out my lungs. I am more into kiddie rides and ferry’s wheels.

I am excited with upcoming trip, because I will be spending a day in the happiest place on earth. My friends are already excited to ride all the fun rides that requires a lot of screaming but I may have to stay put and just ride the ones fit for kids only. But I like that there has been a lot of adult concept playgrounds popping out in the metro recently, where adults can be kids again even only for a few hours.

Over Rice - New York Halal Inspired Comfort Food

Over Rice is only one brand under Chow Chaps. Chowchaps Food Services was founded by the business partners Sonny Angelo O. Valencia and Emil G. Javier II on June 13, 2016. The partnership however, started way beyond the legal inception of the business. The partners, Sonny and Emil, were cousins and literally grew-up with each other. They laughed and fool around since they were young. During their college days, both of the schools they studied-in were very close however far from where the both resides.

Emil decided to try his luck abroad as a student, furthering his academics in New York's prestigious New York Film Academy. While Sonny stayed in the Philippines and worked for the professional services firm NavarroAmper&Co., a network of Deloitte Touche Tomatsu Limited in the Philippines, as a Financial Advisory Associate. Both, were separated by distance but not in spirit as they continually support each other communicating via the internet. During that year a part, many challenges in both of their professional and personal life were encountered, and both took it as learning experiences and grew to be better people.

Budget Beach Style

You’ve been planning that beach vacation for ages and you’re so excited! In your mind’s eye, you’re relaxing by the pool (check this one https://www.globosurfer.com/best-above-ground-pools/) with a cocktail in hand and looking just like the glitterati swanning elegantly with an effortless chic. Or you’re sitting on a beach towel watching the waves crash into the white sand while the kids play beside you making sand castles. In all of these wonderful scenarios, you want to look your best, and this is absolutely possible without breaking the bank.  So how do you get that styled beach fashion look on a budget?

Start with Great Swimwear
One of the cardinal rules of beach style is to splurge on the best swimwear you can afford. Getting the right cut and fit with good boning means that you’ll feel confident on the beach or by the pool, and you’ll get many year’s wear out of your swimwear.  Cheap, flimsy swimwear will pull at you and highlight the areas you want to hide, so definitely shop around for the best quality swimwear you can afford.

Your Homecoming DressTells A Lot About You...

Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back alumni of a school. It is a tradition in many universities, colleges and high schools especially in the United States. By the way, Homecoming should not be confused with prom, as they occur at different times of the year. Homecoming usually occurs in the fall, and prom usually occurs in the spring. And for sure you are already looking forward to the Homecoming dance which is the culminating event of the week (for high schools).

I’ve never experienced going to a Homecoming event and most homecomings here in my country doesn’t have a formal social gathering at the end of the week-long celebrations, ours is just simply getting together probably to conduct some civic work or things like that and it usually happens just for a day.

Communion Dresses from MariaCommunion.com

Does anyone of you still remember your first communion? As for me it's a bit of a blur to me to be honest. It is quite a big thing here in the Philippines, being the only Catholic nation in Asia and a country that is predominantly Christian or Catholic.
All I can remember from my first communion was that everybody was excited about it. I think I was in third grade when it happened. Our school was non-sectarian but most of the time performed Catholic practices. I remember it took weeks for us students to prepare for our first communion. Our teachers allotted time for us to practice and read stuff for the event.

Get Ready for the Cold Season with Stylewe

*Sigh*… How time flies so fast… It seemed like yesterday we were all just celebrating the start of the new year, then there was valentine, then graduation, then summer, and who would have known, the year is about to end again in a few months. A few weeks from now, it’s already the “ber” months and that signals the Holidays and the of course the cold season. But before we get too excited, let’s not forget about Fall or Autumn.

Fall or Autumn may be short, but it is as equally beautiful as all the other seasons. Especially when the leaves turn to bright reds and oranges and they start to fall off from the branches of the trees in preparation for the winter season. Unfortunately, here in my country we only experience 2 seasons, rainy and dry season. But when it rains, it tends to get pretty cold too and the cold wind coming from the north during October to December also gives us Filipinos a taste of the winter weather. So we still have a reason to get into the bandwagon of wearing layers, coats, sweaters and jackets.

Pastel Proms with D-daydress.com

I enjoy themed events because I believe it’s what makes a party or a gathering unique and memorable. A themed party creates a different atmosphere and will definitely get guests to be excited and interested to attend. Themed events doesn’t have to be just for weddings and birthdays; school gatherings like prom and homecoming could also need some sprucing up and acquire a theme that will engage students and alumni.

Although I haven’t got to attend any themed prom event, because it is not too much of a big deal here in my country, but if ever I can go back in time, I would love to have a Garden Party Themed Prom. I have tons of ideas flooding my mind right now on how to style and conceptualize the entire event.

Homecoming Queens with DressThat

I am someone who loves to dress up especially if I have enough time to prepare and choose outfits. If I am attending an event, say like a wedding or a party; I always plan a complete outfit (and yes, that is from head-to-toe) weeks in advance and sometimes way to ahead. I’m really keen on that subject.
Unfortunately during my prom, I wasn’t able to really put a good thought on my outfit.  From what I can remember, my mama and I just went to the mall and picked something off the rack and had my makeup done in a neighborhood salon. So you probably guessed it right that until this day, I dread seeing photos of me taken during my prom.

Crop It Like It's Hot with Zaful

You know what they say about fashion, trends always make a comeback. I have been seeing a lot of things that reminds me of the 80's to early 90's fashion lately. Though I was born in the 80s I never got the chance to wear any of its fashion trends because I was too young back then.

And in the 90s I was still in elementary and only after I graduated from high school that I took dressing up or fashion in its overall sense  seriously. But hey the fashion of the era where I grew up is now again on trend so I might try it out one of these days.

Pumped Up Kicks with Laces Out

To be honest, I never really liked wearing sneakers, apart from physical education classes and when I’m not so lazy to run. This is because I am petite and most of the time I wear heels or wedges and also I’m not the sporty type. But when kicks became a fashion trend and that it looks nice in a lot of outfits and are very comfortable, I decided to give it a try.

Although I must say, I don’t own that many sneakers, unlike other people who collects them and always wearing them. But if I have the chance and I’m feel like going too casual, sneakers are my go-to footwear. And who would have thought I would love wearing them.

A Coachella/Bohemian-themed Roofdeck Party

Why do I blog? More than the reasons I have written in my "about me" description on the right side pane of my blog, I guess it's about meeting people from all walks of life and learning a thing or two from those people I meet. Going to blogger events for a few years now, I have met a lot of people who left an imprint on me (whether good or bad) and some even became my friends. A lot of the people I meet share some same passion with me but in their own ways are very unique themselves.

I only have 2 blogger groups that I go with in events but through these groups I already came to know a lot of personalities and I mean a lot! One of which is Team Aldous spearheaded by Aldous Calubad of aldousatetheworld.com; and last Saturday we celebrated the third year anniversary of Team Aldous. Although I have been attending blogging events with them for only a year, I like attending events with this group.
