Yes, to be young again! I was just talking with a colleague about what it was like back when I was in high school and college a while back. That got me reminiscing, became very nostalgic and thought about the things I could have done differently. You know if given the chance, I would undo a lot of the stupid decisions and indecisions that I have committed. I wonder if life would be better or it will just create some butterfly effects. 

Like, if I was wiser with career goals and relationships, would have I been up in the heavens. Not that I am discontented with life right now, don't get me wrong, I am blessed beyond belief and I've never been this happy and at peace with myself and my life without having to depend my happiness and worth from other people. I am joyful now than ever before. And I am grateful for that and I cannot even explain how much I am.

While not outlawed, a great number of these drinks are just as unreachable as they were 90 years ago. While doing some reading about this topic, I found out that most bars and liquor stores carry only 10 to 50 bottles on average. Thus the proliferation of speakeasies across the United States.

Although I have not come across any written evidence that this was also the case in the Philippines during the 20s and 30s even though at that time we were a colony of the US. That's a good thing perhaps. Exactly the same thought that after a while, speakeasies are also springing around the metro.

I am at my unhealthiest state at the moment. I've been living a very sedentary life for months or a year now. And that has taken a great toll on my body. I always feel tired than usual, I sleep half the hours that I should and I often get sick.

The Never Ending Battle with Acne

I have an on-again off-again relationship with acne, and it's the worst relationship one can have, more excruciating than having a relationship with a guy (haha!) And until now, I suffer from adult acne. It's in my genes, both my father and mother suffered from them and having both their DNA, I wasn't spared. I started caring for my skin only after college, because back then I really didn’t have much skin problems.

The only skin care products that I use are sweet smelling body lotions from Victoria’s Secret or Bath and Body and whatever shower essentials that we have at home. Only after taking my Nursing Board Exams that I started experiencing skin problems. Maybe because the real world of being an adult, commuting and stress at work, put a toll on my skin. My skin broke out and I suddenly had combination skin on extremes, super oily and super dry.
