"Diamonds are forever..." This was the slogan used by the world's largest producer and distributor of diamonds, De Beers, since 1948, and continue to do so as of present time. Shirley Bassey also used it in her song with the same title and was used as the soundtrack for the seventh James Bond film of the same name.
The lyrics goes: "Diamonds are forever, they are all I need to please me. They can stimulate and tease me. They won't leave in the night. I've no fear that they might desert me. Diamonds never lie to me. For when love's gone, they'll lustre on. Diamonds are forever, sparkling round my little finger. Unlike men, the diamonds linger. Men are mere mortals who are not worth going to your grave for. Diamonds never lie to me. For when love's gone, they'll lustre on. Diamonds are forever, forever, forever."
I couldn't agree more to that lyrics, do you agree with me on that? Yes? High five! Being a girl with simple dreams and aspirations, I don't think diamondis my best friend though. I would be a hypocrite if I say I don't want one. Of course I do, I said to myself that maybe I'll buy one for myself one day, just a gift for myself for I braved the storms of life and lived. I like diamonds because they are very representative of life. A diamond is merely a lump of coal that did well under pressure. Just like a diamond, it can’t be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
For those looking for diamonds or other precious jewels and metals for their personal jewelry or for engagement or wedding rings, you might want to check out Truval. They are one of the world's leading companies who buy and sell diamonds at the best price.
If ever I'll get one someday, I would probably get me a vintage one or a vintage-looking one. I like everything vintage and I've bookmarked some that I have seen on Pinterest and online. I also found some that suites my vintage taste. I would also want a colored diamond or a clear one with tiny blue precious stones surrounding it and the band filled with colored stones. I want one that will be timeless and would become as a heirloom jewelry that I can pass down to future generations of my future family.
