Butterfly Wall Decals and Butterfly Tops Online

The butterfly is one of the most symbolic animals in the world and it represents personal transformation. And it's no surprise that a lot of people who undergo some major form of change in their lives are searching for anything butterfly-related and butterfly tops online . I have always loved butterflies, because they remind us that it's always never too late to transform ourselves.

If anyone of you see the butterfly as your spirit animal, perhaps it guides you in being sensitive to your personal cycles of expansion and growth, as well as the beauty of life’s continuous unfolding. An important message accompanying a symbolic spirit of the butterfly is about the ability to go through important changes with grace and lightness.

Toni and Sergio Gastro Italiano at Venice Grand Canal Mall

My office is just a stone's throw away from Venice Grand Canal Mall and I am a witness while its construction was ongoing until it formally opened to the public. While on the morning shift a couple of months ago with my officemates and I would always eat somewhere there if our work load isn't that hard and that we can afford to spend an hour for lunch. I am intrigued with the new restaurants in the area but only lately that I get to try some of them.

One of the restaurants I've been dying to try at Venice is Toni and Sergio. It is a Gastro Italiano resto that offers delightful and luscious authentic Italian and Spanish cuisines and owned by Iapino Family - the same owners of Parmigiano restaurant. I had dinner here with my good high school friends and coincidentally, the business' tag line is "Where good friends meet!". Isn't that fitting or what? After all one of the definition of friendship is catching up over good food and something nice to drink.

Hair Disaster? There's Always A Solution!

I don't think I am vain as a person but as much as I can, I always want to look good and presentable. I love pretty things, I use a lot of products, and I always put make up on and wear nice clothes most of the time. I take care of myself the best I can. A part of my body that I never neglect is my hair.

I subject it to a lot of torture but I most definitely equate that with much needed pampering and care too. The only thing that I haven't done to it is to cut it super short, I have always worn it long, sometimes super long that it goes down as far as the waist level. Recently I've gotten tired of it and decided to change it to a lob also known as long bob and sits just below the shoulder level.

Awesome Tricks for a Bikini Body

Last year, Americans spent more than 13.5 billion dollars on aesthetic procedures. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), 58% of the total expenditures went on surgical procedures, while non-surgical procedures accounted for more than 5 billion dollars. Times Magazine columnist Joel Stein points out that more and more people are perceiving those aesthetic procedures as essential, while James C. Grotting, MD, President of ASAPS believes that among other motives, competitiveness in the workforce is a recurring theme. Let’s see what non-invasive body remodeling technologies are available in 2017.

Ultrasound fat loss
As a non-invasive treatment, UltraShape technology uses pulsed ultrasound to target fat selectively (which essentially works like a female fat burner pill). It directs ultrasound energy directly to the fat layer under your skin. The pressure waves create cavities in fat cells, causing their membranes to rupture, while keeping skin cells, nerves and blood vessels intact. UltraShape treatments are comfortable and do not show any visible signs of the procedure. The results can be seen after two weeks, but two to four treatments at two-week intervals are recommended.

Made for the Cold Weather

It is literally raining so hard right know while I'm writing this blog feature. The sound of pouring rain outside is so loud thank goodness that is blurred by the best of Linkin Park playlist I'm playing on Spotify right now. Not the type of music one should playing on  cold, gloomy, rainy Saturday night, but just reminiscing the hits of one of my favorite rock bands that I grew up with. I bet you heard the news of the band's front man's tragic passing away.

I admit I don't know each and every song they have under their belt, but I grew up from the generation where they were at their peak and I believe me when I tell you, whenever any of their song plays on the radio, I know it's them and I can definitely sing along. Surprisingly I know most of the lyrics of their songs by heart even though I don't know their titles. Anyhoo, I just had to get that off my chest. I don't want to sound like I'm riding off what had just happened, because TBH, I am a fan until now and what happened was really shocking and saddening.

On Finding Focus and Concentration

I must say that as we age we kind of loses our ability to focus, well like me, almost about everything. We do a lot of things to make us remember important stuff, like write down notes on our journals or on our smart phones so we have reminders for our things-to-do etc.

When I was in college, studying was always a priority whenever we have exams. I would usually lock myself up in a room and study the whole day or night; most of the time without anything except for some good music. I do not know about you, but I can study without eating or having a drink at hand, yet without music I easily lose focus and fall asleep.

Going Au Naturel with Radha Beauty

I know that they say that beauty is only skin deep, but I guess there’s nothing wrong with taking care of our skin, after all it is the largest body organ in our body. Also, every day our skin is exposed to harsh elements like wind, sun, pollution which can cause irritations and makes our skin look unhealthy, tired and dull. There are a lot of ways that we can do and use to combat the effects of daily exposure to these harmful elements without further harming our skin. The solution? Go au naturel with your skin care products.

I for myself use a ton of products for my skin, head-to-toe. But I must admit that not all of them are made from all natural organic ingredients. Which kind of makes me guilty because I’m putting and exposing my skin to synthetic chemicals which I know in the long run will have unwanted effects to my body. But whenever I have the chance to come across products that are organic and made of natural ingredients, especially if they are within budget, I chose them over the other.

Classic Italian Meatballs Recipe

Meatballs are one of those ball-shaped foods that are irresistible. Most of the food that we eat that comes in ball shapes tend to be delicious - think of Truffles, Doughnut Balls, Cheese balls and an array of Asian delicacies (Japanese and India). The mere idea of thinking about this food will make anyone salivate, and this doesn't even scratch the surface of the ball-shaped food that we have in our world.

But of course, meatballs top this list. The honest truth is that some of us have been fortunate in life to have been introduced to meatballs early in life while others had to wait until 3 to 5 years ago when they had their first experience with meatballs.

6 Affordable Ideas That Will Turn Your Small Bathroom into a Spa

In theory, a bathroom is supposed to be a functional room that contains a bath/shower, toilet and a faucet; in reality, however, it tends to be so much more than that. First of all, it is a first place you visit once you get up in the morning and the last place you visit before you go to sleep. It is also a place where you go to relax and a place where you come to think (no wonder that strangest things that come to mind are referred to as shower thoughts). In a way, it is our own private oasis, our own little spa. With this in mind, here are six affordable tips that could help emphasize this notion even more.

1. Frame mirrors
Every bathroom needs a mirror and seeing how most of the panes are more or less the same (aside from their dimensions and shape), it is the frame that makes all the difference. In order to save some money and at the same time get the right mirror for your bathroom, you could just buy an ordinary mirror and then have it framed. Aside from being a cheaper and a more customizable option, this practice will also add some personal value to this particular item (due to all the effort and research you invested in it).

Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen at Ayala Malls The 30th

Another cuisine that is dear to my heart and for sure everyone's too is Italian cuisine. It's so familiar to the Filipino palate that's why it is most often than not our go-to comfort food. We have made some of them even our own versions and have concocted a lot of the dishes (especially pasta ones) a hundred times in our own kitchens - that I am 100 percent sure.

I have been invited to try out Mama Lou's in the past but I didn't go because their first few branches were mostly in the South area of Metro Manila. I was thrilled that on the second time that I was invited to a foodie meet up is at Mama Lou's newest branch at Ayala Malls The 30th, because it's quite near my vicinity.

Florals and Career Women

Though summer is officially over in this side of the world, the weather in a tropical place like mine is quite hard to put one's finger on. There times of the day that the sun is scorching hot and then suddenly a rain pour would just happen. Or sometimes it rains hard in the morning then it will get a bit humid at night.

So basically living in the tropics it is best to wear something comfy or something that you can layer when the temperature drops. I mean, for example, for a career woman like me, who go on commute everyday and then comes  to work where the AC is on full blast, it is just ideal to wear plain or printed casual dresses and then put on a blazer over it.

Marinduque Travel Diary: Travel Video

Hello all! Hope everyone’s having a great week! Can you believe that we’re already halfway through 2017? How time flies right? I bet at the start of the year, you’ve written a couple of goals and plans that you want to accomplish in 2017 just like I did. As for me, I’ve only accomplished a few but it’s ok, at least I’ve crossed out some of it from my list. Not bad I’d say, I still have a lifetime to do all of them. Just like one of my life mantra, it's never too late to do what you want in life!

One of the things that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time is to create travel videos. Here’s a little secret, when I was younger, I’ve dreamed of becoming is a music video director haha! But I don’t think I can do that now since I took a different path for my career. Though, learning a new skill is one of my goals every year and video-editing is one of them. Now I’ve finally done it, as I’ve completed my first ever travel video. I should have done this a long time ago, but oh well.

5 Effortless Ways to Stay Focused on Your Goals

We all love the enthusiasm we first feel when we decide to do something. Setting our goal seems like the hardest thing we need to do and we feel like we’ll never run out of motivation to accomplish it. However, a few days later, we usually realize that the motivation won’t last forever as it has already started to run dry. Staying focused on our goals in no easy feat, but there are a few tricks we can all use to make it feel effortless.

Write down your goal
Before you are able to focus on achieving something, you must decide what it is that you want. When you realize what your goal is, you should write it down. This will help you make it specific and come up with strategies to reach it and it will serve as a reminder and motivation on your journey. The goal you write down should be defined in “SMART” terms. Making your goal specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-specific makes it easier to achieve. By defining our goal in these terms, we are already halfway done with our strategy.

Straight Out of the 1920s: The Penthouse 8747

“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.” - F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby. A beautiful quote from one of my favorite movies and books of the 1920s era. If you don't know it yet, though I always mention in a lot of my blog posts, I have a penchant for anything vintage most especially if it belongs to the Roaring 20s era.

An era full of fire-out, decadent, ridiculous parties; androgynous fashion and beautiful blues and jazz music. Better known as the Great Gatsby where parties are epic, complete with elaborate platforms, singing, dancing, movie stars, light shows, sexy flappers and wasted money (for anything glamorous). Not to forget the beautiful art and architecture known as the art deco or noveau.
