Buendia Food by the Court: Food, Fun, and Basketball
In less than a year, Buendia Food by the Court has already established itself as a favorite foodie destination and hangout in Makati City. Launched early this year by SUDECO, the unique food park, which also houses a basketball court, started out with 13 merchants.
Today, BFBTC has a total of 27 merchants serving a variety of unique, mouthwatering food concepts. The first of its kind in Makati, Buendia Food by the Court is an extensive food park with its own basketball court, located conveniently in the middle of the metro. Whether you want to burn a few calories post binge, work up an after-game appetite, or you simply want to chill with friends in a hip, laid back environment that just happens to offer some of the best grub in the city, BFBTC is your best bet.
Buendia Food by the Court, with its wide variety of curated food options, has something for everyone. You can't go wrong with local favorites from Filipino hawker stalls: Goto Pinoy serves the famous all -meat goto and champorado with bacon, J&V Lechon Belly is known for their lechon dinakdakan and Cebu lechon belly roll, Joe's has sumptuous local longganisa specialties like the crunchy Pancit topped with longganisa, sizzling balut and other sizzling must -tries from Doss Pares, award- winning premium beef tapa at Tapaddiction, and Sisig MNL's selection of sisig (try the croc meat sisig!).
If you're feeling more indulgent, go for Barrel Smoker's smoked ribs and belly, try gourmet burgers and chicken wings at Burgers Meet Wings, binge on all kinds of shrimp and prawn specialties from Shrimper's List, sample steaks and pastas at Rouche Grille, enjoy rich Spanish staples like paella and crabs from Pappi Boy's Spanish Cocina, munch on large DIY sandwiches from MAD Subs, eat all kinds of fries at Keso Kumpadre, and satisfy your sweet tooth with waffles and ice-blended drinks at XOXO Waffles & Frosts.
There is also a good mix of international cuisine: Bakmi Nyonya serves authentic Indonesian food, while Isha's Little Thai Kitchen cooks up a memorable pad Thai, and khao pad krung, Jack's Joint offers Turkish fare like shawarma and kebabs Lamexa Cantina provides a wide selection of Mexican dishes (try their Lamexaritas - margarita ala Lamexa!), Little Kodo offers Japanese street food. Shangkee Buns serves up Chinese buns, RJ's Korean Bowl-Gogi has yummy, Korean specialties, Fritoohhh! dishes out Hong Kong street food, and Sausage Party has juicy German sausages.
Don't worry there are also many healthy options to choose from: Rojak Salad serves a special, one-of -a-kind salad, Brothers' Blends, a farm-to-table all-organic stall serves aero-pressed coffee, cold –pressed juices, and healthy desserts. You can also try the goat meat specialties at Korvits Grill, a leaner alternative to the more traditional beef and pork. Finally, if craving something cool after an intense game of basketball just head to Ice Cold for chilled drinks and ice-cold beer.
