Newchic.Com Haul # 3 + Review

Hello there lovelies, I am back with my latest haul from Newchic.com! And this is the third time; you know what they say about the third time, that it's always a charm. I can say that is so true for this latest haul; I only got two items this time around but I am very much excited and pleased about the pieces I received.

Newchic.com offers fashion items, for both men and women, that are of the latest trends without burning your pockets. Not only that, I have had the one of the best customer service experience with this site. The customer service rep always emails me for updates about my order. One of the items in this recent order was out of stock then the customer service informed me that it will be re-stocked on the first week of July and if I am willing to wait for it. So I said yes. I am glad they informed me asap so that made me willing to wait even if I'll receive my items in 2 shipments.   Their website is also fairly easy to use, providing customers with language, currency and shipment options. It is the only Asia-based online clothing store that I visited which provides Philippine peso as currency, they were able to consider the fact that the Philippines has a huge market for online buyers. And I'm definitely giving Newchic kudos for it.
So anyway, here's my second haul from the site:

I don't own any clothing item in color Red and this is my first time to get any clothing item in this color. It isn't a usual color that I would go for, but this dress is only available in white and red. I didn't like the white one that much and I was left with the red one, so I thought, "red... yeah, why not?!"

I got this dress in XL size which I based on the size reference on the website. Like I always say in my reviews of clothes made from China, they tend to run small,so the best way to go is to always get one size larger, so that if it doesn't fit you can have it altered down to your size. So the dress is a little big for me; I should have gotten the Large size but it's ok, I can sew it to the sides so it can fit me better.

The dress was described as a mid-calf length on the website. I am petite and the length of the dress is a bit long for me, it kind of look like more of a maxi dress than a midi-dress. I might cut it shorter because it does look better as a midi than a maxi dress. 

The dress is made of crochet/lace material and I love that the lace fabric is soft because I thought at first it would be very stiff. The straps are adjustable which is good. The metal zipper for the back closure is a nice contrast to this ultra feminine dress. I super love this dress and it's now one of my favorite dresses.

I am currently obsessed with lace-up footwear, I think I have 5 different types of shoes that are lace-ups. That is the reason why this lovely babies caught my eye. I was initially thinking of getting the red one but I thought the color would be hard to pair with certain outfits, so I went for the neutral color Camel. Nude colored shoes also makes my feet look fair, flawless and longer. The shoes came in a shoe bag instead of a box, probably to lessen the weight for shipping costs. Good thing the shoes was in great condition when it arrived even though it didn't came in a box.

I love that it got chunky heels as well, because the heel height is around 4 inches - the chunky heels gives me more support and cover more floor space that also gives me a sturdy balance while walking in this heels. Plus chunky heels are in trend nowadays.

The size that I got is size 36 which is a US 5 and the shoes fits perfectly, yep Cinderella moment right there! The insoles are also super comfortable! that's the first thing that I noticed when I tried them on. These shoes have great cushioning in them, so walking on them ain't that hard.

The suede material used for the band and ankle straps are super soft and of great quality. The sling back of the ankle strap is also garterized so they won't cause shoe blisters. Overall it is a very stylish and super comfortable shoes, even though the heels are quite high. I believe I can use this at work without me feeling tired wearing heels for 9 hours. I am super in love with this babies!  I'm thinking of getting the red ones too btw. I highly recommend that you get them right away before they ran out of stock again!
