New Year, New Hair

Hey It's the new year! Everyone's like out with old and in with new. I like it when it's New Year because it gives us all a sense of fresh start and that feeling of being hopeful and all. Like all of us are keeping are eyes on the brighter things up ahead of us.

What something new have you done for the New Year? When I came to work last Tuesday, I found that 2 of my officemates have new hair dos. One cut her hair into a Lob (long bob) and one had her hair professionally straightened. As for me I dyed my hair into super ash brown and it is super light with streaks of gray. New year, new looks for the win! Right?!

But for those of you who are not feeling so risky to change their looks or hair dos just yet, I guess you can experiment with wigs, extensions or weaves that you can easily ditch and replace when you don’t feel like wearing that hair style anymore.

Hair weaves are add length and/or fullness to human hair. Hair extensions are usually clipped on to other hair by incorporating additional human or synthetic hair. Natural human hair can be permed, dyed, and flat ironed whereas synthetic hair cannot. There a lot of types like deep wave hair, loose wave weave, and/or weave with closure.

Weaves are good options if y'all are trying to grow your hair long naturally. Sew in, just like any other weave, has its ups and downs. They can protect your hair but if not “installed” correctly it can damage or break your hair. So after getting yours find someone who can help you put them on properly.
