While everyone is still hangover the holidays, this lady right here is already daydreaming about the summer... sun rays hitting my face in a soft subtle way, sea breeze caressing my skin all over, oh I can't wait to be at my happy place once more. I think summer's going to be early this year since by the time it hits the New Year, the weather turned all sunny and humid in a blink of an eye. Usually it is still chilly in January to February, not the case this time around.
Living in a country located in the tropics, you know that no matter what happens it will always be 365 days of summer. Even during the monsoon season, you can find people in my country going to the beach or having some pool party. I remember just last year that my officemates and I went swimming 3 times during the rainy season. Because of that, I always want to be ready with apparel that is stylishly ready for any beach trip or pool swimming party.
With that comes the reason why in these 5th Rosegal haul you'll see that I got 3 pieces of swimwear even though I already have tons of them. You'll never know when you'll need an extra pair right? Ok before we go to my review of the swimsuits let's check out this bag first. This bag has been in my Rosegal wish list since like forever. This looks like one of the designs from the French and luxury brand Céline:
Micro Belt Bag. It's a medium average sized bag and quite roomy with two pockets inside. The bag has two ways to keep your stuff inside secure, a zipper and the flap with magnetic closures. You can carry it with the short handle on the flap or via the adjustable shoulder strap.
The material used is some faux suede and the body is like this cork-looking leatherette that looks super nice. It has gold colored metal details and comes with this pom-pom keychain. I probably will not use the pom-pom key chain as I don’t feel like the bag needs it. It is already sleek looking on its own. It's beautiful as it is simple looking. I am totally in love with this bag and it will probably become a favorite of mine.

I already have this style and design in red and green (check how it looks like when worn here) and I like it so much, the design, the material, the fit and the coverage it gives me that's why I also got it in this design and the black one. This the only printed version of this style and I am so down for this leaves/palm print. Gives you that tropical beach vibes 100%. . I have nothing but high praises for this swimsuit; the print and color are nicely done, quality is amazing. The material has a good stretch and the fabric used is of good quality. I’m kinda blessed with kinda huge bosoms, bum and hips so I ordered this in Large and it fits me well.

I'm getting addicted to one piece swimsuits as they flatter my body type in a really good way. This swimsuit actually has old rose and wine red stripes and not red and white. But I still like it and it really looks pretty with that vintage vibe. I love the details in this piece. The double straps: one is halter type, one is the regular adjustable straps. The bust area gives me a pretty good coverage without the fear of nip-slips. The bottom part gives me good coverage. What I super adore in this swimsuit are little details of the back part. It has a little cut out detail where the clasps/closure is and at the waist area are two extending fabrics that you can tie into a little ribbon or bow.

So this the black version of the other swimsuit. It’s sexy in a subtle way: the lattice crisscross design in the front part just shows the right amount of skin without looking like super racy. The bottom part also gives me good butt coverage. It somewhat looks vintage-y because of the high-waist cut and the bottom that isn’t high-cut. For the slimming effect it claims to have, I think this is because of the good coverage it gives, it accentuates curves and shows off just the right amount of skin. It has a front-lining and comes with pads, but I didn’t like the pads because they were like cardboard stiff so I just replaced them, no biggie. The straps are adjustable and removable at the back part so you can wear it the normal way or you can also crisscross them. I like it so much!
