I've visited Cebu three times in the past, but for me it was always only just a jump off point to Bohol or Siargao. I would just usually spend a day or day and a half in the Queen City of the South and I was not really able to experience this vibrant city. Cebu is probably the other city state outside of Luzon that is urbanized and equally progressive as Manila.

Although it is a metropolitan area, what I like about Cebu is that destinations where you can enjoy nature is easily within reach. Mountainous areas like in Busay is just a few minutes away from the city, world-class beach resorts in Mactan Island is just an hour away while Bantayan Island, Moalbal (diving site) and Oslob (whale shark watching) are just a few hours away.

Big Hair Don’t Care

It’s hard to say no to volume especially when it involves ravishing waves or huge curls. I just love vintage superstar side-swept waves cascade over the shoulders in a frothy, voluminous confection while the opposite side balances the silhouette with sleekness. I think it’s a look that’s still infused with gorgeous glamour, don’t you?

If your hair is volume-challenged, listen up, I am the same way. For a long time, I have always dealt with my fair share of limp locks, falling curls and bangs that were glued to my forehead. Even if I put products on it or blow dry it for hours, as the day goes on they just decide to fall without life. I don’t know if it’s the structure of my hair strands or what.

Pump Up The Volume: The Secret To Celebrities’ Super Volumized Hair

I have always wonder why celebrities have super volumized hair when almost every one of us, most often than not, have the same amount of hair in our heads or almost the same thickness. Even if I apply volumizer to my hair and curl it to the max, I still can’t achieve that Victoria’s Secret-model-super-volume-soft-curls-kind-of-hair.

Then I found that most of these celebrities use a couple of hair bundles to volumize their manes. Although I haven’t had the chance to use hair extensions to achieve that gorgeous and full of volume hair; but if given the chance I definitely jump right into that opportunity.

Hottest Summer Hair

I always color my hair like every two to three months, which is actually not a good thing because I am subjecting my hair to harsh treatments that damages it further. Also, I use different kinds of hair dye and hair color my hair looks ombre or balayage (a French word meaning to sweep or to paint. It allows for a sun-kissed natural looking hair color- similar to what nature gives us as children - with softer, less noticeable regrowth lines. The principal idea being less is more when creating soft, natural looks). 

It looks nice yeah, but the bleaching part to achieve that ombre or balayage effect gives unpleasantly rough or jarring to the hair strands. If you still want it, since summer is just around the corner and it’s actually the perfect summer hair style, but afraid to damage your hair but still want to achieve hair with highlights you can always make use of hair bundle with closure types of extensions.

Happy Hearts Day everyone! How was your Valentine's Day? I hope you had a good one! I spent mine at work, gave out some simple V-day gifts to my team mates because I think and believe that this day isn't only for lovers but also for people that matters to you. People that makes your life worth waking up to each day: family and friends? Do you agree? Besides why only celebrate a day meant to remember love when you can do it every day right?

It’s also the Chinese New Year, btw. So gong xi fat cai or kung hei fat choi to all the Filipino-Chinese, Chinese and all the ones with Chinese blood all over the world! There were fireworks last night and our office was visited by dragon dancers! It was so festive!

Bundles or Packs? Which Hair Extension is Better?

Whenever I am asked what part of my body do I like, doesn’t like or if I want anything to change in my body, I always think about what I like about it first. Hey, who will love me but me right? So the least thing that I ponder on is what I can change about. 

But to answer the first question, So, to answer that question, here are the parts of my body that I love: my eyelashes (they’re pretty long and thick), my fingers (they’re not going to qualify for any hand model job, a bit webby but they’re long and just the right thickness), my legs (they’re not at all flawless but they’re well-proportioned and not muscular) and my hair (it is literally my crowning glory).

Ciao bellas! How’s everything going? Well, can I just say that the first few weeks of 2018 have been crazy amazing for me! It’s a good sign right? Just last weekend, I had a weekend getaway to another city here in the Philippines. I flew with other bloggers to Cebu, an island city in the middle of my country. We just lazy around, ate like every 4 hours, did some sight-seeing, stayed at a beautiful hotel then in a waterpark resort. It was short but sweet. I was happy to have recharged that early and met a lot of awesome people along the way. That’s the first of my summer trips and there’s still more lined up ahead. 

While away on my work-leisure vacation, some of the things that I recently online arrived. And of course as like I always do, I’m sharing and reviewing them for you guys. This time around, I’m sharing my latest Gamiss.com haul. I’m only on my third haul from this online store, and it has grown to be a one of my favorite places online to shop for just about anything! Not only that this store sells beautiful apparel, they also offer items for home and tech. That’s why I got items aside from clothes this time around.

Hair Disaster? There's always a solution!

I seldom do have problems with regards to my hair and it is one of the best assets that I have, if I may say so myself. I also make sure to always keep it in tip-top shape despite the fact that I always put it under so many stress by dyeing it every so often and had it rebonded several times, blow dry, iron and curl it on a regular basis.

Although I have a few problems with my hair. Whenever I have it trimmed and the hairdresser takes it upon himself/herself to cut it to a length that I didn't tell him/her to and ended up way way shorter; it takes a long time for it to grow back or longer to the length that I wanted it to be. Also, my hair strands are thin and round which makes it hard to stay curly whenever I curl them despite putting tons of products just to hold the curls.
