I'm still in Christmas mood, how about you? I love all the gifts that I received this Christmas! This season is my fave of all, besides summer of course. Because it's the season of love, giving and oh yeah, shopping haha! By the time the "ber" months hit, I was already in a holiday state of mind. Maybe because Christmas came early for me; I received lots of goodies in the mail by October. 

Including in those early Christmas presents is this recent haul I got from Zaful. Can't believe I'm on my 16th haul with this brand. How time flies right? The year just passed by like wind, I swear it was just New Year’s Eve yesterday!? Ok, I think I'm kinda rumbling already. My mind is all sorts of crazy because it's still in holiday mode.

It’s Christmas Eve and I’m all giddy this time of the year, it’s actually one of my favorite day. I was once a Grinch about Christmas because one of my uncles, my favorite one, died a day after Christmas. But slowly, I appreciated Christmas as the years goes by and what it really means for Christians like me. What I can vividly remember when I was just two years old, a time when my memory was  starting to form, I was at the beach near our ancestral house in Iloilo province, half submerged in the water, carried by one of my uncles. I was kicking my legs in joy because I was enjoying making the water splash around me. I think that was the seed that made me start to love the sea. 

The sea gives me an unexplainable sense of calmness. If I am stressed out of my wits and I know I'm going to break down soon, a trip to the beach always relieves that. I don't know about you guys, that is how it works for me. The beach is my happy place.  And if you don’t know it yet, there's a study that going to the beach is very helpful in relieving the feeling of weariness.

It's 26 days until Christmas and I can't fathom how time can fly so fast. I swear it was just summer yesterday and now it's getting cold and everywhere you go you can see people putting up their Christmas decors. This season can be both festive and stressful, to be honest.
