Prom Dresses in Pantone's Top 10 Colors of 2017

It’s another new year and for fashion lovers like you and me it’s another year for new styles and trends. I’ve been browsing the net for what’s in store for 2017 fashion and also the colors that would be at the forefront of clothes strutting down the runways and street style file. And my go-to site to check for the later color trends is Pantone.

For this year Pantone Fashion Color Report provided a comprehensive overview of the top 10 colors for 2017 that fashion designers use of color in their spring 2017 collections. This year’s colors are bright and vivid giving a sense of earthiness, hues that surrounds us in nature and the colors of spring of course. The top 10 shades are Niagara, Primrose Yellow, Lapis Blue, Flame, Island Paradise, Pale Dogwood, Greenery, Pink Yarrow, Kale and Hazelnut. (See photo below).

Malcolm's Burger

When it comes to burgers, I can say I have a hate-love relationship with them. I do consider myself as someone who practices a carnivore diet as I love meats all too well. If you're into that you may want to check this link. When in a restaurant, it's not the first thing I will look for in the menu, probably the least that I would notice. But I consider it still as one of my comfort food. Well, who can say no to the temptation of the smell of grilled beef anyway? A lot of times I get disappointed with burgers though. That sometimes I regret ordering them.

Yet there are few burger joints that I like to try once in awhile. Like Malcolm's Burger which is just down from the building where I work. Whenever my officemates are craving for burgers or when we feel like treating ourselves , Malcolm's is our go-to burger stall.

Single Origin Coffee

I will never claim I am a coffee connoisseur, but I am definitely a coffee addict. I can't start my day or heck my day won't be complete without having coffee. Although I like my coffee cold more than lukewarm or hot. I visited almost every coffee shop I know and I love discovering new ones. I particularly like third wave coffee because their flavor is bolder and the taste stays longer. I've recently visited Single Origin Cafe in BGC High Street Central out of curiosity because one of my blogger friends said it's one of the cafes that offers quality coffee.

Single-origin coffee is coffee grown within a single known geographic origin. Sometimes, this is a single farm, or a specific collection of beans from a single country. The name of the coffee is then usually the place it was grown to whatever degree available. Single-origins are viewed by some as a way to get a specific taste, and some independent coffee shops have found that this gives them a way to add value over large chains. Alternatively some people think that this is a way to artificially keep the price of coffee inflated.*

The Sunday Currently: Vol. 8

Happy New Year everyone!!! Today is the first day of the year and I can't be more excited about it. I am thankful for 2016; I can't say it's my best year ever but it definitely was a special year for me. It had a fair share of ups and downs and lessons learned... just like any year that has passed. And because of that I was inspired to write another year-end blog post which you can read here: My 2016: Year In Review And Things I Am Thankful For.

Every year, I always make it a point to have a positive outlook for what the new year will bring for me. As for now, I will just go with the flow but will still keep an eye for my future goals and plan and still work hard to attain them. I haven't crossed all that I've written down in my journal back at the start of 2016. And this new year is another opportunity to put into reality those goals and plans that were not achieved in 2016.

My 2016: Year in Review and Things I am Thankful For

In 2015 I went thru one of the hardest times of my life. Yes just one of the hardest, because in my 30 something years of existence, it wasn't the only event that shattered my life into pieces. Growing up I had my fair share of difficulties in almost all aspects of my life. But what doesn't kill you always makes you stronger right?

It took me some time to go thru the grieving process. I actually took my time and not hurriedly went thru every phase. And the aftermath is that I have come out of that road block renewed - stronger, stable, content and joyful. Yes not just happy, because happiness is based on events but joy is something deeper.

Beauty Tips for the Most Beautiful Smile

There is nothing more beautiful than a crystal-like smile that makes a person look young and healthy. However, in order to achieve this goal, you have to make an effort and follow these tips for proper oral care.

Daily brush
The essential rule of everyday oral care is regular teeth brushing. In order to keep your teeth healthy, you have to keep all the harmful bacteria out of your mouth and the best way to do this is by brushing your teeth at least twice a day – in the morning and in the evening. Aside from your teeth, you should clean your gums and tongue, since this way, you will eliminate bad breath easier. Furthermore, you should also pay attention to the brushing technique. You should use up-and-down movements along the outer surface, paying attention not to hurt your gums.

77 Food Haven Kapitolyo - Xurreria

There's a new food park in Kapitolyo yet again.  But this time it's different food scene altogether. It's an old house (or shall I say mansion, judging by the size of the house) turned into a foodie heaven housing different kinds of food stalls. Food Haven 77 is a multi-concept indoor/alfresco resto-hub that houses over 20 unique and craving-worthy food and drinks stalls. Food Haven also has its own bar that serves local and imported beers and other spirits.

Food Haven 77 is the newest place to have your next food trip. 2-story full of stalls to choose from so you wont run out of choices.  It's actually the first food park that I visited that is fully-air conditioned. We visited this after having a boodle fight at Gerry's Jeepney which is just right across the street.
