Malcolm's Burger

When it comes to burgers, I can say I have a hate-love relationship with them. I do consider myself as someone who practices a carnivore diet as I love meats all too well. If you're into that you may want to check this link. When in a restaurant, it's not the first thing I will look for in the menu, probably the least that I would notice. But I consider it still as one of my comfort food. Well, who can say no to the temptation of the smell of grilled beef anyway? A lot of times I get disappointed with burgers though. That sometimes I regret ordering them.

Yet there are few burger joints that I like to try once in awhile. Like Malcolm's Burger which is just down from the building where I work. Whenever my officemates are craving for burgers or when we feel like treating ourselves , Malcolm's is our go-to burger stall.

Malcolm's uses 100% Kitayama Wagyu beef for their burger patties. . They prepare and pan grill their burgers after you order them. The variety is only just a handful but everything is good. The patty is juicy, tender and flavorful. Their burgers can be upgraded to meals with potato chips or onion rings and iced tea. I like their iced tea and their potato chips that are made from scratch.

What I also love and I think what is unique about Malcolm's is their wasabi mayonnaise. It has just the right amount of wasabi flavor yet very distinct. Mix it with ketchup and it's heaven in every bite.

The two burger varieties that I always order at Malcolm's are:

Malcolm's Classic Burger - Wagyu beef burger patty, letuce, tomatoes, onions.

Bacon Cheese Burger - Wagyu beef burger patty, letuce, tomatoes, onions, bacon and cheese sauce.

If you happen to be around the CBD area in McKinley Hill (near the Emperador Stadium) drop by at Malcolm's and see what they have to offer. I'm not a big burger fan but their burgers are worth a try.
