Gamiss.com Haul #1 + Review

So here is the long and short of things: my current obsessions are rompers and maxi dresses. If you have seen my past hauls from other online clothing shop you'll know I've been shopping for rompers and maxi dresses lately. I want to hoard a lot of them for future travel ootds! Naks! I've been talking about having a fund of outfits for my planned trips this year and the next with one of my bffs; because yeah we are like that.

Anyway, I stumbled upon this website called Gamiss, which is a fairly new online shop, and I found a couple of items that I really like. But I decided to get just two items just to try the shopping experience for this site.

But before that let me introduce Gamiss to you beautiful people first. Gamiss is a leading international online fashion clothing store. My items came in a box and not the usual plastic pocket; which is ok but this would usually cause some suspicion with customs that your items are super valuable and might cost a lot. Good thing I have my invoice with me when I claimed my package. That even though the items look expensive, they are actually affordable.

So here's what I got from www.gamiss.com:

Stylish Round Collar Sleeveless Floral Print Women's Romper
Material: Polyester | Fit Type: Loose | Pattern Type: Floral

I like this romper mainly because of the prints. I love the pastel florals prints contrasted with the black lines. The two are so different but they looked so nice combined together.

I really don't know what type of fabric they used for this romper but it kinda reminds me of crepe fabric. But It's comfortable to wear. I got this in size XL basically referring to the sizing chart on the website. Though when I tried it on, it doesn't fit like a glove in some areas especially the top part; so I might do some alterations using my ever-trust-worthy sewing machine.

It doesn't have a lining and it doesn't need it because the fabric is not sheer. The quality and how the romper was sewn is great. There are flaps on both sides of the bottom part, I find them as weird additions to the romper's design. The romper is already pretty as it is without the flaps, but I don't really mind. I still like it!

Bohemian V-Neck 3/4 Sleeve Tribal Print High Slit Women's Maxi Dress
Material: Polyester | Silhouette: A-Line | Dresses Length: Floor-Length | Neckline: V-Neck | Sleeve Length: 3/4 Length

There has been an influx of bohemian inspired maxi dresses lately just like this dress. I have seen this from other online clothing shops and it's nice that I finally got to have one. I got mine in size Large just to be sure of the size, if it is bigger I can do some alterations so it would fit me unlike if I order a smaller size or my actual size and it is too small I wont be able to do any alterations.

The length of the dress is quite long on me so I have to cut some of it. But the fit is ok especially that the waist part is garterized. It has some cute tassel and button down details on it too. The neckline sits a bit too low though and doesn't lay nicely on my upper chest so I may have to use some garment tapes so that it wont slip.

I love the tribal/bohemian all over feel of this dress, it is very spot on. And the color combination of light brown and light green is beautiful as well. I also love the slit on the front I find it very sexy. It is made of chiffon fabric that is very lightweight, comfortable and flowy. Plus the 3/4 sleeves are perfect in hiding my flabby arms hahaha! I've got nothing but love for this maxi dress!
