Make Your Coffee A Little Extra With Lotus Biscoff

I love coffee! I can't function at work without it, that's why before I clock in or after I clock-in, I get myself a tumbler of coffee. It's the fuel of my body, almost the blood that runs through my arteries and veins. I usually don't munch on anything when drinking my good old tumbler of a coffee, it's just me, my workstation and my coffee. But wouldn't it be lovely if I can jazz  up my coffee moments with a nice biscuit to go with it?

Thanks to Lotus Biscoff, Europe's favorite cookie, my coffee time is made a little extra. I was able to receive a box-full of these little goodness and the moment I started gobbling them, I can't make myself stop from reaching one pack after the other. I also tried dipping them them in coffee, you know, how you would dunk Oreo cookies in milk, and the taste became even more irresistible.

Lotus Biscoff is a Belgian brand with a very unique almost Gingerbread flavor with a crunchy texture. The size is just right and won't overwhelm you. It is less sweeter than its cookie butter spread too. Each bite is an absolute heaven.

Since 1932, Lotus Biscoff has been Europe’s favorite cookie with coffee. Delectably crunchy, with a unique taste and refined flavor, Lotus Biscoff is perfect for taking the timeout that you deserve.  Enjoyed by themselves or complemented with a cup of coffee,  these European cookies are the same delightful treats that travelers fell in love with in-flight.

Lotus Bakeries is the name of the Belgian Bakery that produces Biscoff Cookies and other specialty European baked goods. Biscoff is the name given to Lotus Bakeries Speculoos Cookies in North America. It is derived from the words BIScuits & COFFee.
These European treats first made their way to America as in-flight treats. Starting in the 1980s, Lotus Biscoff treats have been paired with mid-air morning coffee in flights throughout the United States. Frequent fliers took note of the unique taste and special magic of Lotus Biscoff and coffee, and today’s passengers continue to discover Lotus Biscoff on major domestic flights throughout the country. Just last year, more than 90 million Lotus Biscoff Cookies were sampled on domestic flights alone. It comes as no surprise that Lotus Biscoff is known as “The In-Flight Treat.”

The unique taste stems from the sugar’s caramelization during the baking process. And a hint of cinnamon and other spices add that special something. Biscoff Cookies are made with: No artifical color or preservatives, 0 grams trans fat per serving and 0 cholesterol, Non-GMO ingredients, No Nuts and No animal by-products.

Oh and by the way, check out their website to find recipes that you can create using the Lotus Biscoff biscuit and spread. Lotus Biscoff is available in all major supermarkets nationwide.
