Have you guys started your holiday outfit shopping yet? As for me, I am doing it inch by inch as I don't want to go cramming since I kinda despise doing things the last minute and end up just getting what's left on the racks. Being the planner that I am, even what I'm going to wear on a daily basis is planned. Like I prep my entire wardrobe for the work week and all. So basically if I'm going to attend an event or party or go travel, my outfits are already written down or arranged in my memory.

I know that kinda sounds like a high-maintenance kind of girl, but I am not. I'm wired that way and I just don't like looking like drab, because you know, you should always look your best since you'll never know who you'll bump into. Anyway, I did another haul from Zaful and I got a head-to-toe outfit. Although I still don't know to what holiday party I'm going to wear this ensemble. Or maybe I'll wear this on my upcoming out of the country trip, we'll see.

Hey you know what they say about hair? Having beautiful locks is quite a good revenge. Oh yes, when you have fabulous looking hair you gain self-confidence! That speaks volumes to me, how about yourself? As for me, it really is my crowning glory. But there are times that I want to cut my hair short because I’m sometimes tired of maintaining my long locks. On some days I really like to see what I would look like with shorter hair without actually cutting my hair because I am too afraid to cut it short and if it doesn't fit my face shape, I have to go with the pain of waiting for it to grow back again.

How to Achieve Longer, Fuller and Luxurious Hair

Since 5th grade I kept my hair long and sometimes super long because a hairstyle that ends on or above the shoulders makes my round face very pronounced and I don't like it at all. Having long hair, parted down the middle or on one side frames my face and makes it appear elongated, thus giving the illusion of a thinner face. 

For me, my hair is one of my best assets. Some people compliment me because even if I don't have it rebonded or use a flat iron, it's straight most days. The only things lacking are some proper volume and thickness. So whenever I want to curl my hair like those of celebrities and Victoria Secret models, I can't seem to achieve that no matter how much volumizing and curling products I use.

This the season to do a whole lot of shopping! No excuse since the holidays are fast approaching. I am someone who loves to do online shopping because I kinda hate going to the malls because of the hassle of heavy traffic and finding a parking slot. I've already done some shopping for clothes online for the parties I'll be attending this November and December.

Hello lovely people of the internet! How's life going? I bet the days are getting busier every moment as the holiday season has already began. Well in my country, at least. We Filipinos start the holiday season when in September and ends it in February, probably the longest holiday celebration in the world.

The last quarter of the year will be very busy for me. I'll be doing a couple of trips in and out of the country plus the tad too many parties that I'll be attending as well. Because of that I really don't have much time to go around malls to shop; thus my default would be to do almost everything online.

Ahhh the holidays... are you guys feeling festive mood already? I have mixed emotions about the holidays; it's my favorite time - the last quarter of the year. For one, my birthday is in November, I'll be another year older but definitely wiser. 

Another things is that I love celebrating Christmas and New Years. It's one of the rare times that I get to reunite with friends and families, enjoy a good lunch or dinner and a lot of catching up. What I don't like about the holiday season is how stressful it can be. Traffic is worse and  malls and establishments are packed. 

How Do I Knit If I'm Left-Handed?

Anybody who is left-handed has probably noticed very quickly that all knitting instructions and tutorials are written from a right-handed perspective. For the lefties who want to get started with knitting (click here), there is just one question: can you knit left-handed? 

Left or Right? For a non-knitter, the entire problem may seem odd. Knitting is done with 2 needles, one in each hand. How is this a left/right handed issue? For standard knitting, the yarn is fed through the right hand into new stitches, and the work is done with the right needle. The left needle is mainly the base on which you work. Stitches then move from the left-hand needle over to the right as the row is completed. So knitting is definitely a directional technique. What's a leftie to do?

I Have Found The One! The New Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation

I am on a quest, a quest to find the best foundation that suits my skin colour and skin type. For me it's foundation day every day, I might get snarly looks and comments about me wearing foundation everyday (well except on weekends and that I don't have be anywhere but home). This has been the case ever since I started working in the corporate world. Using foundation everyday for some people might be too much, some say that I should wear BB cream or tinted moisturizers if I'm putting make up on a daily basis. But those don't give me the coverage and look that I want to achieve before I step out of the house.

I rarely do make up reviews or beauty products, but I found something that needs to be raved about and I just had to do it. Also, I don't consider myself as a pro when it comes to make-up. I'm on the intermediate level; I still don’t know a lot of things, I still make boo-boos, my eyebrows are not always on fleek, and I still need to learn a lot about makeup application. This is a long forgotten review tbh, I did photograph the products a month ago and only now that I had the opportunity to create a write-up. So today I'm writing down my two-cents about the New Maybelline FitMe! Poreless Foundation.
