Zaful.com Haul # 5 + Review

Ola chicas! How's your week so far? As for me, it's still and as always, toxic week at work. So just like always, work has been very demanding, nothing new about that, thus my go-to de-stressing activity is some retail therapy and food trips. These two are past-time, well besides blogging and other stuff. Anyhoo, today I’m sharing with you my latest and fifth Zaful mini-haul. I chose some random clothing pieces this time. Solely basing on what I haven’t purchased that are saved in my wish list cart. Btw, this is another collab post with Zaful but rest assured I will give my most honest feedback and review.

The shipping took around a month and as always slowed down once it reached the Philippines. We have an archaic postal system still so it took like more than 2 weeks before I received the package. I like that the items was placed in individual zip lock plastics bearing the Zaful logo, pretty neat if you ask me.

If you guys are still not familiar with Zaful; well, Zaful is your one-stop online shop for today’s most daring, exciting and edgy fashion apparel. Zaful was established with a clear vision: to provide the very latest in compelling designs for the fashionably hip along with providing exceptional value, quality, and superb customer service. Zaful offers a select choice of clothing, shoes, accessories and more to deck out your wardrobe with style.

Ruffles Floral Embroidered Blouse
Material: Polyester / Sleeves Length: Full / Collar: Round Collar / Decoration: Embroidery

This the first thing I added on my cart, I was eyeing a similar item in black but it was already out of stock. Embroidered apparels are a trend nowadays and I must have one in my closet. The vintage look of embroidered clothes never get out of style anyway so yeah this definitely a must have in my closet.

The material is made of soft organza and not chiffon because it is a bit stiffer than the latter. Good thing is that when I washed it and put some fabric conditioner the cloth softened a bit. Besides the embroidery detail the cloth is also a Plumetti. Plumetti is a fine lightweight dress fabric of cotton, wool, or rayon that is woven with raised dots or figures on a plain background producing a feathery or embroidered effect.

I got this in Medium and fits quite nicely on me. Though a little snug around the chest area and upper arms. I can still wear it and move around so I’m good. Definitely my favorite in this mini-haul.

Casual Streetwear Letter T-Shirt
Material: Cotton / Clothing Length: Regular / Sleeves Length: Short / Collar: Round Collar

I got this t-shirt as a filler for this order. I was going to get another shirt but again that one was already out of stock. You know items at Zaful sell like pancakes, put them in your wish list cart today and the next time you visit the site it’s already out of stock.

I don’t have many shirts in my wardrobe because I’m a blouse and/or sweater kind of girl. I rarely go out wearing just a t-shirt even on casual days at work or on weekends. I got this in large size because I wanted it to be a little loose and good thing that it didn’t disappoint. I love how it fits me, not too tight and not too baggy or loose.

The material is thick and has a good stretch. The print is well made. Why the print you ask? Well, I’m a fan of Netflix’s Narcos and this reminds me of Pablo Escobar hehe... Plus the white clean print on a black base looks pretty neat.

Ruffle Hem High Low Dress
Material: Polyester / Silhouette: A-Line / Dresses Length: Knee-Length / Collar-line: Round Collar / Sleeves Length: Short

I have few casual dresses that I can use like on a regular basis or on a whim, most of the dresses that I have are too dressy, or more like occasion or party dresses. That’s why I decided to get this one. I was actually looking for a purple lace dress. I was thinking that I can pair this with white sneakers or sandals and either way it will look good. Plus the color is so pretty. I wouldn’t usually pick a clothing item in pink but this one is an exemption.

The material is a good quality cotton polyester. The bottom part is a high-low skirt with a drop waist. It has invisible pockets on the sides as well. I got this is a large size which I based on the size chart on the site. Unfortunately it is quite big on me. So I need to have this altered and remove a couple of inches on the sides and the length too. I want it to end just a couple of inches below the knee.

By now, Zaful’s sizing looks true to size. The other items that I got from them, whenever I choose to get one size bigger ends up too big for me. But I think that’s better than it is too small and that you don’t have no way to use it at all. I mean when it’s bigger you can easily just have them sewn to a size that fits you. Then again it’s always way better if you don’t have to do that. Anyway, you can check these pieces from this mini-haul by clicking on the links down below. Until next time loves!
