A-TTEN-TION! Army+Navy

A few days ago, we tried ArmyNavy... well, that's out of curiosity. They offer your usual fast food dishes, i.e. burgers, fries, onion rings etc. But they also serve burrito, which the one thing that you can't easily get when you crave for it; unless you head off to a Mexican restaurant.

The Ambience
ArmyNavy's resto design and creative is creative, clean and somewhat sleek. The furniture and fixtures are minimal giving it a spacious effect. I don't know what it's like there, when it's a regular day.

What I really like are the signs, it's creative and well-thought. Mixing the familiar signs with their tag-lines and products.

The Food
I ordered the Chicken Burrito and the Libertea iced tea:

Chicken Burrito
Libertea iced tea
Bully Boy Burger- triple quarter-pound natural beef patties, topped with lettuce, tomato slice & onions, mayo & ketchup on toasted sesame seed kaiser bun.

and Cheese Quesadilla for the both of us:

The Verdict:
What we Liked:
- big serving
- the store concept and design
- the staff was courteous
- the food was served fast
- the place is clean
- the cheese quesadilla was yummy
- the website (http://armynavyburgerburrito.com)
- they are open for 24 hours (some branches also deliver 24-hours too)
- personalized (?) or labeled utensils, cups, tin plates, table napkins, tape etc..

What we Disliked:
- the burger patties were too salty
- the burrito was not that bad but didn't meet our expectations

Overall, we were half-way from accomplishing our mission. We came in hungry, and yes, we walked out full; but not that happy... ArmyNavy's food is just plain and ok. But if you're starving it will surely fill you up. It won't satisfy your cravings though. We tried their carrier dishes, but we were kinda let-down. I would choose, still, Brother's Burger (for their burgers) and Jalapeno (for their burrito) over ArmyNavy's. You may or may not agree, but hey, these are just my thoughts based on what I ate and experienced. Go try it for yourselves and maybe you can change my mind...  :-)
