It's That Time Of The Year To Wear Your Christmas Sweaters

Last weekend I went up to Tagaytay for my best friend’s wedding. Tagaytay is the nearest mountain range from Manila and the last time I was there even though the air is always cool it rarely fogs (though it's not an unusual thing in that area). But that morning, 3/4 of the way up I can already see a fog looming, and when we got to the roundabout the fog thickened.

I was excited and scared at the same time. Excited that I rolled down the window then stuck my arm out to feel the coldness because I can't even remember the last time I saw and experienced such foggy weather. I was also scared because it was almost zero visibility on the road. Thank goodness that I arrived safely to where the wedding preps of my best friend is happening. Also it cleared up by mid-day and the weather was perfect just in time for the wedding.

With that event, I just realized that the cold holiday/winter season is undeniably here. The festive mood is in everyone; just on my way to work today, I saw that they already put up the Christmas lights up on the trees that lined up the streets leading to our office building. And I can't help but feel all giddy and merry.

To completely exemplify the joy of this season, I am seriously thinking buying some ugly holiday sweaters and wear them to a couple of holiday parties that I'll be attending. I think it's a hilarious way to dress up for those parties and people surely will have a good laugh about it. Not that I want to look ridiculous or anything, but just to add some fun to the already happy season.

I just found some cool and affordable ones from Simple-dress.com and while browsing through the site I already pick some sweaters and having a good laugh while at it. These are surely ugly-ass sweaters but they're cool and gives you the holiday cheer and vibes at the same time, don't you think?
