I just can't help but reminisce how fun was last year's Encima's launch; the night was filled with entertainment, exchanging of stories, meeting new people, catching up, plus tummies filled with comforting Tex-mex cuisine goodness and a little more than what my alcohol tolerance can handle.
To top that up, nothing can probably beat al fresco dining whilst enjoying the a panoramic view of the Makati Skyline. Encima Roofdeck Restaurant is a Tex - Mex roofdeck restaurant overlooking the Makati cityscape at City Garden Hotel Makati's top most floor. If you're a regular visitor of any of my social media accounts, you should know by now that I am an avid fan of roof deck restos and bars, something about them entices me a good deal. These kind of places are your perfect go-to destinations for a night cap, weekend chilling or for a romantic date.
On July 29, 2017, City Garden Hotel Makati revamped the name of their roofdeck bar/restaurant to Encima Roofdeck Restaurant. The word "Encima" was derived from a city located in Mexico which means "Above" or "On Top". Last year, they launched the Everything Bottomless promo wherein you can order all you want on their featured Tex-Mex menu with unlimited margarita offered every Friday and Saturday all night.
In line with City Garden Hotel Makati’s Encima Roofdeck Restaurant’s first year anniversary, they are thrilled to share their success with everyone with their newest offering: TACO ALL-YOU-CAN! Since 2017, Encima has been one among the favorite restaurants of guests and walk-in diners in Poblacion, Makati.
This year as they celebrate their first year, they would like to thank their guests and patrons by featuring Encima Taco Bar which offers you DIY Taco-All-You-Can with Unlimited Margarita and Sangria for only P499. This will be available from July 2 to August 5, 5pm to 9pm.
You have the option of choosing among soft tacos, hard shell tacos or nachos. There's also 3 kinds of meat to go with your tacos: beef, pork and chicken and mix that with some Mexican rice. For added flavor, you have a myriad of condiments, sauces and other ingredients to add more flavor and texture to your tacos. I personally loved the sour cream, pico de gallo, chipotle peppers and baked beans with the tacos that I created. And of course tons and tons of grated cheese and cheese sauce. I actually went crazy with the cheese haha!
