Oh the luxury of sleep… I miss sleeping as much as I want to without worrying that I need to get up and get ready for work. I love to sleep but my current work and other things that I get busy about don’t permit me to sleep as much as I want to. Although as much as possible my husband and I made sure that our bed room would be the most relaxing place to stay in our apartment. That's why even if we don’t have the poshiest place to live we make sure that we get a comfortable sleep especially when our world is turned around because we work at night and sleep during the day.
Even after getting married we didn’t mind that much the kind of bed or the mattress that we have, how much more our linens. We just took what we can get from my husband's house and from mine so that we can have a decent bed. But when we had the chance, we bought a good spring mattress and my husband constructed our bed from scratch. And of course we bought quality linens too, those with high thread counts that I have no idea what these thread counts on linens even do for us.
But I understood right there and then when I laid down on our new bed, mattress and linens that having good sleeping furniture and beddings really does give you quality sleep. Even if we don't get enough hours of sleep, it is way way better than what we used to have with our old bed and linens.
I would love to purchase silk linens or beddings someday. I know my husband will go crazy if we do get one; he loves smooth beddings! He spreads out our current linens as if he had worked in a hotel as a room keeper for years and neatly tucks every corner like it is his masterpiece.
