I’m not a techie-kind of person but even if I hate to admit it, I can’t live or go on a day without my smart phone. It is one of the things that I can’t leave the house without. And whenever I accidentally forget to bring it (which rarely happens), I get somehow agitated and feel like a big part of me is missing. My smartphone is my somewhat my life, it’s my only way to communicate with loved ones and friends some of which are thousands of miles away from me. Since I am a blogger, I engage so much with social media and I also constantly check my personal and blog-dedicated email addresses every time I get the chance to. I also always browse the internet for whatever, listen to podcasts and view videos on Youtube. So I always keep my phone and mobile data open, and because of that my phone’s battery easily gets drained, most of the time I already use up half of my phone’s battery life even before the clock hits lunch time.
With that being said, I think I need to be ready and have the needed gadgets to keep my phone’s battery life always a 100%. Also, we will never know when a emergency will come and we don’t want (I specially) to get caught with low battery or God-forbid an empty batt when that happens. Or we don’t have anywhere where we can plug our devices and charge up our gadgets.
Here’s a list of some of the Belkin Products that I want to have (well, a part of my Christmas wish list probably) just so I would not feel anxious whenever I see my phone battery draining by the minute or when there’s a power source but I can’t charge or connect my phone.
I can’t bring my phone inside the area where I work because it is prohibited; moreover, I can’t also always charge it in the guard’s station because most often than not someone’s already plugged-in their phones in the 2 power outlets available there. So what I do is I just turn off my phone when I’m not using it just to save battery life. But sometimes I can’t especially if I am waiting for a message or an email or an update that is important.
That’s why I wanted to have the Belkin Mixit 4000mAh Power Pack (Blue) it would be such a life saver because if I really don’t have a chance to have my phone charged at the guard station in my office, I can just plug it in this powerbank. With its size, I can also bring it to me anywhere and would take up only a little space in my bag. It also has 2 USB ports so if someone in my office needs some power for their phone, I can lend him/her the other port. Well, we will never know when this will be handy especially during an emergency or I am commuting on the way to or from work. I think I am the only person in my circle that doesn’t own a power bank and it’s about time I get one.
Since I commute and sometimes take a cab or Uber, I also think a car charger and a USB connector cord will be very useful. Some taxi and Uber drivers carry with them chargers and ports. Some Uber cars are quite high-end that they have built in USB ports and they allow their passenger to plug chargers on their units. Thus, I think also bringing a car charger and a charge cable would also be helpful to me. I like the Belkin Single 2.1A USB Car Charger with 4' Lightning Cable (Black) because it’s dual purpose: it can be used as a home charger that plugs into any wall power outlet and also as a car charger that plugs into any car power outlet. But since I always ride as a back seat passenger in cabs and Uber cars, I think I need a longer charge cable and Belkin 3 Meters Lightning Sync/Charge Cable (White) would be divine! The other two car chargers on my wish list will be spare one just in case I accidentally left the one I brought with me in the cab or the Uber car. Or maybe… I can give them away as gifts to family and friends…
I think if I have all these products from My Belkin Wishlist, I wouldn’t have any anxious moments and won’t ever fear of missing any important messages, emails and social media updates because of empty batt. What do you guys think of my Belkin Wishlist?
