Buddha Bar Manila's 5th Anniversary

I'm familiar with Buddha Bar because I once (or a couple of times I think) partied here back in college when it was still in Greenbelt 3. But I didn't know then that it is an international chain of bars that has its roots in Paris and have a branch in NYC. Most people are intimidated by its grandiosity but do not judge the book by its cover because all you're gonna get here are nothing but good quality drinks and food.

Luckily, I was invited by Buddha Bar Manila and Zomato Philippines, together with other bloggers and Instagram influencers, to take part in the celebration of Buddha Bar's 5th Anniversary in its new home in Picar Place Makati. It was also a way to celebrate Chinese New Year but since it originated in Paris the party's theme centered on Cabaret and Can-Can theme. The event was hosted by Angel Jones and resident DJ Joseph Alturas spinned the music.

First opened in Paris, France in 1996, Buddha-Bar is as a world class bar, lounge and restaurant chain located in major cities such as Paris,London, Dubai, Monte Carlo, Keiv, Prague, Moscow and now in Manila.

Buddha-Bar Manila is a 7-star, 3-storey establishment which can accommodate over 500+ guests to its lounge, restaurant and terrace. It is one of the biggest Buddha-Bar franchise in the world, showcasing dishes served in all Buddha-Bars across the globe. In the Buddha-Bar wonderland, your taste buds travel to distant lands and inventiveness nests in your plate.

Guests were treated with bar chows and drinks. Ours were curated by award-winning mixologist Clayton. He asked us what kind of liquor we usually drink and from there he curated cocktails that you can't find in their usual menu. What a treat right? Not only that the drinks tasted good but they are so Instagram-worthy as well. As for the food I personally like the dumplings and satay BBQ as they are packed with flavor. 

Moreover, in celebration of Buddha Bar's 5th anniversary in collaboration with Maserati they are giving away a Maserati Ghibli Diesel! For a single receipt purchase of a la carte items worth as low as Php 5,000 pesos, or Php 30,000 on banquet events, you could find yourself behind the steering wheel of a brand new luxurious Maserati Ghibli. In addition, for every Php 35,000 net worth of single receipt purchase from the a la carte menu, you can avail a scheduled chauffeur ride from Buddha-Bar Manila to any point in Metro Manila and vice versa. How cool is that?!

By the way, besides a night full of performances (Can-can dance performance, songs, and bar-tending exhibitions) good food and drinks, I can't get over the Maserati cap that they gave us as a party favor. Love it! Thanks Zomato Philippines, Buddha Bar Manila and Maserati for this fun-filled night!
