Well, well, who would have known, it's Valentine's Day once again. Valentine’s Day was first associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting. Although in modern times, Valentine’s Day was never meant for lovers only. Since it is the day where most people celebrate love which has many meanings; this day can also be commemorated with other loved ones and even your friends.
Valentine’s Day also marks the beginning of Spring – where after a long winter, flora and fauna starts to bloom again and give life to any place that was once gloomy and covered with snow. So this day connotes not only the celebration of love but also a new life.
I personally don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, not that I’m not a romantic it’s just that most often than not I am at work and have no time to take time off just so I can go on a dinner date during this day. Well let’s leave that to those who are just starting to their relationships. But I do post Valentine’s Day greetings on my social media for my families and friends. What I actually need right now, instead of a valentine is 8 million dollars (so I can travel the world and buy all the clothes and other stuff that I want) and a very fast metabolism (so I can wear swimsuits when I'm at the beach) hahaha!
Anyway, let’s talk about the perfect outfits that you need for V-day date with your bae or singles’ night out with your lovely squad. Here’s are some outfit ideas to keep your style-game on point:
