It's Beginning to Feel A Lot Like Christmas: Dress from SheIn

I can start feeling it's the holiday season already for several reasons. For one, the weather is starting to get chilly. Two, the worse Manila traffic has become worst especially during the rush hour where vehicles run 10-20kph from destination to destination. And number three, which is actually a good thing, is that I am starting to receive gifts as early as now. I can't help myself singing "Twelve days of Christmas" because it is actually how it feels like.

Just this month I already received a couple of items: prizes, GCs, items for feature etc - of which I consider as gifts/blessings as I am trying my best to have a grateful attitude whether be a small or a big value item.

One of the items I received last week is this dress from SheIn. But before I show you and review it, I'll tell you guys the story behind this. I always love joining contests or giveaways, whether I win or not I always take my chances. It doesn't require so much effort anyway so there's nothing to lose, I just do some sharing on social media and that's it. A month ago I joined a SheIn giveaway and I won. So I used those points to buy this dress and at exactly the same day I added this dress to my cart SheIn was offering free shipping. Thus, I actually got this dress for free!

The dress is in a beautiful color of pine green with floral prints in light green which so much represents the color of Christmas. The color is so dark it sometimes borders to black when it is photographed.

The material though, is not chiffon like the photo on the website. It is made of a much thicker cloth which is not flowy at all. But is ok since it is less see-through and no need to wear a cami underneath. It is made of polyester and it isn't that stiff.

Since I am a petite woman, the length of the  dress falls just a couple of inches above the knee. Not too short and not too long - just how I wanted it.

The design and cut of this dress reminds me of an oversized boyfriend shirt, only that it is a made into a dress using a girly print. The fit somehow runs large than the advertised sizing. Good thing that the waistband is elastic and conforms to one's waistline. The sleeves are long for my arms and I had to make a few alterations to make it fall at right sleeve length for me.

I really love this dress which is very befitting for the holiday season up ahead. You can check out this dress here: Dark Green Challis Long Sleeve Designers Floral Pockets Dress or visit the SheIn website and who knows you might find your perfect holiday outfits there.
