Audrey Hepburn Vintage Style by WSDear

Almost every girl in the world deems Audrey Hepburn as a style icon. Why shouldn’t we when she is an epitome of grace, class, elegance and style. It is said that Audrey’s fashion persona "the extension of an inner beauty reinforced by a life of discipline, respect for the other, and hope in humanity.” I myself idolize her style because I love vintage and classic and I, like a lot of girls, refer to her when we want to achieve a pristine vintage look. Starting from using simple ballet flats, oversized or cat eye sunnies, high-waist bottoms, structured shirts and dresses that are cinched at the waist.

Although Audrey had such a slim body, being inspired to dress like her doesn’t mean you have to achieve or even starve yourself just to be like her figure. One of her belief is that you should love the body you are born with and you must have a clear mind as to what will look good on you and be inspired by others but stay true to your own style all your life.

Audrey Hepburn knew her finer points and her lesser ones it means that you should discover at least one thing about you that you really want to emphasize or something that you love about your body.

Audrey was born and grew up during post WWII or the 50’s; and this era was known for dress styles that have the hourglass shape (a fitted body with small shoulders, a small waistline and a full skirt). This style was flattering to both waify women like Audrey Hepburn or curvy ones like Marilyn Monroe.

WSDear.com have a collection of dresses that celebrate the style of Audrey Hepburn and the 1950s and below are my top picks from this collection:

For years, ladies all over the world have been influenced by the classic and effortless style of Audrey Hepburn. You can look just as elegant and vintage looking like her in 1950s inspired fashion by adding any of those pieces I picked from WSDear to your personal wardrobe. Always think of elegant simplicity when putting your Audrey Hepburn-look together and let WSDear help you with that.
