I love doing things myself, from crafting, decorating, trips and even when it comes to beauty and wellness. One of the things that I love DIY-ing is doing my nails. Not that it is costly but I just don’t have the time and patience to go and stay in a salon for hours. But once in a while I do enjoy going to the salon and getting my hair and nails done.

 
A few days ago I had an impromptu/spontaneous nail pampering session with my blogger friend Bettina. I don’t usually see her that often except for when we go to blog-related events together so it was a nice time to catch up and bond. 
We went to Ziba Wellness Center for our nail pampering session. I only got my finger nails done since I was wearing kicks and if I do the pedicure as well, they’ll just get ruined. Plus I have two more events that day so yeah. On the other hand, Bettina had both her mani and pedi done.

Ziba Nail Salon has a Beauty and the Beast theme; this is because Ziba like I said a while ago means beauty and the owner Ms. Shilan is a great fan and collector of all things Beauty and the Beast. I was ecstatic when I saw all those Beauty and the Beast collectibles, as I myself is a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast. Of all the Disney Princesses, I connect and see myself with Belle. I don’t know exactly why, but it is just my fave. Maybe because I also love reading books and want to explore the world like Belle and I find Beast (in his monstrous form and human form) really really damn hot AF! Hahahaha! 

Anyway, I chose nail polish colors from Zoya,one with a bronzy shade and a dark purple. I just had my nail polish put on the day before but it looks horrible so I didn’t mind them being removed and replaced with something better and that will last longer. 
I like that the nail technicians asks you how you want your nails done, the shape, if they’ll remove the cuticle etc and how much cleaning you want. I also like that they’re hands are so light, because some techs prick and cuts you. In the end I just love how my nails turned out.
