Keep It Short But Sweet

Prom, according to Wikipedia.com is a semi-formal (black tie) dance or gathering of high school students. This event is typically held near the end of the senior year. Proms figure greatly in popular culture and are a major event among high school students.

In the Western world, high school juniors attending the prom may call it "junior prom" while high-school seniors may call it "senior prom" or "senior ball". In practice, this event may be a combined junior/senior dance.

In the Philippines proms can be a black tie event, a themed party or a lesser formal than a black-tie. And most of the time both junior and senior high school students join the event. There is not a separate occasion for each but graduating students can request for a separate graduation ball.

Attires may vary as well; even if the event invitation or poster says girls should wear long dresses some will wear mini prom dressesProbably in whatever they will feel comfortable to wear.

Besides it is easier to party or dance the night away in short dresses; because you can freely move unlike if you're wearing a long dress. With long dresses, you have limitations because you might step or your dress or trip... things like that... and you wouldn’t want anything like that to happen and be remembered for that night being the girl who stumbled and fall on Prom Night. Also, wearing a short dress shows off your legs and makes you look taller than you really are.

If I am still in high school, which I wish I was, I would probably wear a short prom dresses. Like the ones you can see featured in this article. By the way, you can check these dresses here:  http://www.ihomecoming.com/prom-c1-c104252/

I know Prom will still be next year, but it wouldn't hurt if you start looking for one now right? What do you girls think of picks?
