My Third Mumuso Korea Mini-Haul

And I'm back with my latest Mumuso  Korea haul. If it's still not that obvious that I'm addicted to this concept store, well I am. anyhoo, I got these items a few weeks ago, almost 3 weeks to be exact. Every time I passed by Venice Grand Canal mall before going to work, I can't help but enter the Mumuso store and check out what I can score.

For this haul post I actually got 5 items; the first four were bought in one day and the other items I bought another day. On my very recent visit, I got another Arbutrin serum, I'm addicted to it and I don't want to ever run out of it though my latest is still 3/4 full. With the latest buy, I also finally got to bu the Aloe Vera Hydrogel, the one in a tub. You can check out my first two hauls, I've writtem the links at the end of this log post. So without further ado, here are the latest items I got from Mumuso Korea.

Mumuso Color Protecting & Brightening Shampoo
I've been dyeing my hair since I passed my Nursing board exams and that was  a couple of years ago. I noticed that after a few weeks after everytime I color my hair the color fades easily and my hair colors always looks orange-y which I don't like at all. One of my friends told me that the color probably fades because I regularly use the usual shampoo. That's basically why I bought this. I like that it's herbal and made of less chemical meaning less harsh to my hair. Also it is specifically for colored and permed hair. I love its floral scent that lasts all day. I also use a small amount and it bubbles up good which covers my entire hair (my hair length is almost at my waist btw). So far so good. I dyed my hair exactly one month ago and have been using this for 2 weeks now and my hair color still looks the same ash blonde color.

Mumuso Expandable Face Mask
These are face mask sheets that are packed small and look like candies. Among the face mask sheets at Mumuso, this pack is the cheapest and contains 40 expandable sheets. I use them together with my Aloe Vera gel (reviewed in this blog post). I've decided to solely use the aloe vera gel as a face mask because I already purchased the aloe vera hydrogel (the one in a tub and a dupe of Nature Shop's aloe vera moisturizer). I think buying these expandable face sheets instead of the pre-packed ones are way cheaper especially if I'll apply a face mask thrice a week. I like that the face sheets cover my entire face just like the ones I've used before; they are manageable and hugs the face efficiently.

Mumuso Curling & Long Lasting Waterproof Mascara
The first Mumuso mascara I bought is almost empty so it's time for a reserve. I alternately use this and the old one and both have the same effect and staying power. Though this one is purely just mascara. As for the curling effect I can't really tell because I curl my eye lashes with a . Nonetheless this is a good buy for 99 pesos.

Eyebrow Pencil and Brush
This is the first time I bought an eyebrow pen from Mumuso. I thought I should give it a try too. It's flat and angled just like the one I bought before at Tony Moly and FS. Though the shade is a bit darker than the shade that I usually buy. But no problem since I still use an Etude House brow gel after lining and filling my eyebrows. The color stay the whole day and because its tip is flat and angled it is very easy to use. Comes with a spoolie brush on the other side too.

Mumuso Aloe Vera Hydrogel
Aloe Vera - this probably is the best selling beauty product at Mumuso since it is always sold out. Just got lucky the last time I visited Mumuso because earlier that day the store's supply just got replenished. This has the same effects with that of the Aloe Vera gel but is in a much solid form. TBH it was a bit strenuous to use the former because of its liquidy state, sometimes the gel drips through my hands before I get to lather them on to my face. So I decided to buy this instead as my daily moisturizer.

The goo has a consistency that is more solid and will immediately remind you of the gelatinous insides of an aloe vera leaf. So the feel you get when slathering this on your face is somehow the same. On the packaging it says that aloe vera is use to help treat acne, sunburn, dry skin,  insect bites and eczema. I still suffer some random adult acne so let's see how this will help me in preventing that. It also contains hyaluronic acid which is a building block for collagen thus helping the skin to stay firm. This is very promising. I'll update this post after I've used this product for about a month so I can give my honest feedback. The first Aloe Vera Gel I bought from Mumuso is doing a great job so I guess this won't disappoint.

  1. Any additional comments on the aloe Vera hydrogel? I've started using it as well and I'm not sure if it's the weather or that I'm not using A/C that makes it leave a sticky feel after using. I'm trying to just get used to the stickiness but it's a little more hassle during daytime.

    1. Hi Ches, it's not really meant to be as a cure for pimples but I use it as a moisturiser, and since aloe vera is a natural anti-inflammatory it does help in relieving swelling and redness, that's why I said in my review that my pimple's swelling and redness subsided with the use of it. I use the more liquidy form nowadays rather than this one since it's quite sticky. Hope that helps! and thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment
