The Case of the Blonde

We often look to celebs for inspiration on everything from clothes and makeup to hair, it's no wonder a lot of women are toying with the idea of adopting some of the latest hot Hollywood hair trends. You’ve been flipping through celebrity hair photos, eagerly looking for your next hairstyle and then you come to a full stop. You’re torn between getting blonde or brunette hair and you think twice before you go and request something as outrageous as what you’ve seen on the cover of your favorite magazine. So which way do you go?

For years, there's been a debate about what hair color is better: blondes or brunettes? Everywhere in the world there is an evidence of a blonde versus brunette rivalry and is very common in popular media and especially in television and film. While it might just seem like a hair color to some, certain people will only go for a person with either blonde or brunette hair. So do blondes actually have more fun or it’s the brunettes really?

Dyeing your hair blonde and maintaining it can get tedious. The effects of bleaching your hair to achieve a maximum blonde effect can also greatly damage your hair. Hear it from somebody who has done that, me! My hair is so coarse for all the bleaching and dyeing that I have put my hair through. Had I had the chance of using blonde lace front wig before all this dyeing I would have grabbed the bull by the horns. I wish I could stick to my original hair color of black to keep my hair in tip-top shape but the shade doesn’t fit me. The first time I dyed my hair, I saw the effects it has done to my face and it actually brightened my whole look.

I couldn’t go back to having darker hair because if do, it will be hard for me to go blonde as what shade I have right now. The darker I got was to dye my hair ash, but still blonde. Well at least for you girls out there, before you take the risk of choosing between blonde or brunette, why not try which suits you best. That is possible by using extensions, choose between blonde weave (which celebrities like Beyonce is known for usingor blonde bundles with frontal. Try them on and see how people would react. The good thing is that if people or if you don’t like them you can always use any other hair extensions in another color to help you switch up your looks whenever the mood hits you.

I know a lot of women who can’t also decide what hair color to choose for themselves, even famous celebrities change their hair color ever so often. Maybe they are trying to test the waters on how people would react to their look or if people will love it or hate it. Yet you shouldn’t be so obsess ed with what others might say about you or your look. Because there’s no formal definition of beauty and there never has been. It’s not like there’s some systematic outline for what's beautiful and what isn’t. So at the end of the day, you do you. Do what makes you happy. If you’re happy having blonde (or brunette) hair, by all means go for it!
