Gamiss.com Haul #4 + Review

So I just woke up from a 14-hour sleep, haha! Ok before you judge me of being lazy, hear me out first. I work a 9 hour graveyard shift 5 days a week and most of the time I get 4 hours of sleep daily, that's if I get lucky. It's quite funny and it actually amazes me that when I'm at work I always feel sleepy but the minute I step into my apartment I lost all that feeling. Do you ever get that way too?

I'm seating here in front of my computer, drinking coffee, trying to squeeze in blogging while I pass time before I go to work. Yes it's the start of the week today (but I will be able to post this tomorrow most likely) and I'm not too excited about the work week starting all over again. I just wish there is a way for weekend to slow down or there will be another day on weekends. You might think "well you wasted time just to sleep for 14 hrs". Believe me, I wish I could just take a nap so that I'll have to do all the things I have to do. But I was in and out of consciousness and my sleepiness overpowered my will to get out of bed.

Anyway, I received the last package for this Gamiss haul and was able to photograph them this weekend. This is a mix of clothes and all sorts of stuff. I ordered less clothes this time around since I already bought a few new ones from another site I also frequent. Color: Blue / Style: Bohemian / Material: Polyester, Chiffon / Silhouette: A-Line / Dresses Length: Floor Length / Neckline: Plunging Neck / Sleeve Length: Short Sleeves / Pattern Type: Printed

I bought and wore something similar to this dress for our company year-end party last December. That dress was in red and black but I didn't like the way it fit and the sub-par material that was used for it; plus that came only in one size fits all. And you all well know that there is no such thing as one size fits all, not all body is the same and not all women are size 0. With this one, I was afraid at first that it would come in the same material and size. When I took it out of the packaging a smile started to form on my face because the dress is made with a beautifully printed chiffon. The fit is also perfect, albeit the length was long. So I need to have that altered to my height. I love everything about this dress especially how much it cost it's such a steal. One thing that I didn't like is the cord used to tie the tassels. It was a cheap blue cord that I never see being used for clothes but for crafts or to tie something. So I will have that removed and replaced as well. Other than I'm totally obsessed with this dress.

Color: Cadet Blue / Material: Cotton, Chiffon, Polyester / Fit Type: Regular / Season: Spring, Summer / With Belt: Yes

I already have this romper in another color which I also bought from Gamiss (see it here). I like it so much that I decided to get it in this color. Most of my rompers have prints, dressy or not so casual as this one.  I got this one as this was very simple and only had a ribbon to tie into a bow as its design. The material is a soft but thick kind of chiffon cloth. It’s also very flowy.  The only thing that I don’t like about rompers nowadays is that they don’t have zippers on the sides or at the back so it is kinda hard for me to put them on and take them off.

Color: Wine Red / Flat Type: Mary Janes / Toe Style: Closed Toe / Toe Shape: Pointed Toe / Closure Type: Slip-On / Pattern Type: Solid / Material: PU Leather

I love the classic Oxford or Brogue style of these shoes, it has that sleek vintage style and the color is so nice. I got me my regular shoe size of 6 and it fits well. The color is maroon, darker than wine red as described on the website and made of patent leather with really high-gloss finish. The shoe bed has good cushion so it’s so comfy to wear. I don't have to break-in the shoes too since its soft all over and didn't give me blisters the first time I wore it. The heel has a height of almost an inch but over all very comfortable to walk around with. The sole is rubber so you need not to worry of slipping. The quality is really nice and a very good buy for its price. Since I work in an office, this pair is very appropriate to wear so I guess I could see myself wearing them on a regular basis.

Color: Rose Red / Category: Artificial Flowers, Soap Flower / Materials: Soap / Package Contents: 10 x Soap Flowers

I actually got these soap rose flowers to give out to my female officemates. It made it just in time for Valentine's Day but the rest of the package came just last week so I was not able to include these in my flatlay. They look exactly like the photo. They are very delicate with a really nice rose scent. This can be used for hand washing, wash face or bath. I gave out all of them so I really don't know if they bubble up good. I really loved this and my officemates did too.

Color: Red / Specification / Category: Artificial Flowers / Numbers: 1 Flower / Materials: Metal Foil / Product weight: 0.0260 kg / Package Contents: 1 x Rose, 1 x Card, 1 x Gift Box, 1 x Gift Bag

I got this metallic foil rose as an order filler but I also have a project in mind for it. I'm thinking of making a replica of the enchanted rose from the Beauty and the Beast. I really want one but the ones I see in the department store costs around PHP 1000 and that's kinda expensive for a home decor. Now I just need to find me that glass enclosure and I'm all done. This metal foil rose comes in a hard gift box so you can actually give this as a gift and I think this better because unlike a real rose this would not wither. The person you'll give this to will be able to cherish it for a long time and she can also use this as a home decor. I just hope that the color does not fade that easily or it won’t tarnish.

Color: Black / Brand: UltraFire / Model: Mini-Cob / Flashlight Type: Safety / Flashlight size: Small / Emitters: COB Emitters / Quantity: 2 Lumens / Range: 1-200 Lumens / Luminous Flux: 250 lumens / Temperature: 6500 - 7000K / Feature: Pocket Clip / Function: Backpacking, Emergency, Exploring, Household Use / Work Switch Location: Tail Cap / Power Source: Battery / Material: Aluminum Alloy / Product weight: 0.0350 kg

Besides the fact that I can use this mini flashlight for emergency purposes, I bought this for when I'm at a foodie meet up event. For the lighting is not at all that good, I can use this to light up the area so I can take better pictures of food and dishes. What I have now is a handheld LED light that is the size of my palm and it is kinda heavy and takes quite some space in my bag so I don’t get to bring it with me every time. With this because it is very small I can just throw it in my bag or even in my pocket all the time. It has two light features with 4 settings. This uses 1 AA battery and since it uses led light too it consumes less power. 1 battery will likely last a month or more depending on the usage. Also in case of an emergency and one must be located there's a blinking feature on the side light. I like that this will serve so many purpose for me. Such a very good buy!
