Inumart - The First Convenience Bar In The Country!

The Manila Night Life has never been dull; even flourishing throughout the years as evidenced by growing numbers of bars sprouting around the metro. The “it” places just transfers from one city to another but one place that has never faded as the crown bearer of the most number of drinking places is Quezon City. Year and year out, new must visit drinking places are being formed from the ground up in the largest city in Luzon.

I recently visited this new drinking destination in Tomas Morato with a very unique concept named Inumart Convenience Bar. Why the name? Well because its concept is the first of its kind in the Philippines. Inumart is the first convenience bar in the country featuring affordable drinks, street food and snacks, hip and artistic interiors, and acoustic entertainment.

Inumart is located in an old building along Tomas Morato near the E. Rodriguez Avenue side. It occupies the first and second floors of the building. The inside is full of funky murals and fun signs with quirky table and chairs made from cotton candy carts, old air con units, exhaust fans, old bikes etc. The place embraces a very industrial yet very hip atmosphere that will greatly appeal to any class of people.

It is really a convenience store wherein you get in choose what you want to drink and eat and put them in a shopping basket. When you’re done choosing, walk up to the counter and pay for what’s in your basket. After which you go out to their huge seating area and choose your table and enjoy the night with your friends.

Inumart carries mostly liquors from San Miguel Company but you can also find international alcoholic beverages here. Also, you can customize your drink depending on your budget and mood. They have suggested liquor mixes which you can asked to be mixed in a beverage tower. You just have to pay for a certain fee for that, which is very minimal.

Besides the liquors and the snacks that you can buy inside the convenience store, Inumart also offers bar food and street food for very reasonable prices. Munch on fish balls, kropek, isaw, barbecues and sizzling dishes while you drink and catch up or banter with your friends or officemates. If you’re hungry you can even order a rice meal or buy instant noodles and just have them cooked by one the staff.

Inumart also offers consumable rental rates for exclusive parties. It’s open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with live bands starting at 7:00 pm at night. Inumart is just like how you would gather your friends and go drink at home feels the only difference is that the convenience store is just a few steps away and you also get to enjoy some live music. Inumart tables are of first come first serve/seated basis and they are always packed at night so if you want to go there, better arrive early.
