CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice - W City Center BGC

I used to be so addicted to milk tea that I drink it almost every day. I had a break from milk tea (MT) for a couple of weeks now because I have had too much of it in the past months. And you know what they say, too much of something is not a good thing. But last night, one of my officemates wanted to buy from the milk tea place that’s just at the ground floor of our office building, and then I suddenly craved for MT.

I gave in… In my mind, it was weeks ago that I had MT plus I haven’t tried CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice. When my other officemates learned about our plans, everyone also wanted milk teas so we bought them too. Let’s just say they were our rewards for ourselves having gone this far, 3 weeks in, with our training. We deserved it! Yes we do! Hahaha!

The reason why I never tried CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice even though this milk tea brand has been in the Philippine milk tea arena since 2014, is that the queue of CoCo in just about all its branches is always long. Even the one in our building is always packed with people. The good thing though, they are putting up more and more branches which desaturates other outlets. I actually didn’t even know there’s one where I work until one time that I exited at the back lane of our building.

CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice was established back in 1997 in Tamsui, Taiwan by Tommy Hung. Today, it’s hardly a surprise to see people not holding a to-go cup of any milk tea and one of which is CoCo. It has expanded globally from its base in Taiwan during its 16 years of continuous innovation and development. Today, the company sources its ingredients from a network of global suppliers to provide its customers with an absolute guarantee of quality for its tea and juice products. Taiwan remains the source of the company’s highest value-added activities, and the center for research and development, innovation and training.

Salty Cream Winter Melon Tea – salty cream that balances the fruity winter melon flavor mixed with tea.

Winter Melon Latte – winter melon, tea, espresso and steamed milk

Coco Milk Tea – original milk tea flavor.

Passion Fruit Burst – passion fruit juice, tea, nata de coco, pearls and seeds.

Three Buddies – their original milk tea with three sinkers: pearl, pudding and grass jelly.

CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice has 7 series on their menu, namely: Milk Tea, Cream and Latte, Fruit Tea, Slush, Fresh Tea, Chocolate and Juice. There were duplicate orders amongst my officemates and me so I’ll just post here the single flavors.

IMO, the taste of the milk teas from CoCo is ok. Nothing that blew my mind but it’s decent. Though I really enjoyed the Passion Fruit Burst that I ordered as it was really refreshing and had a lot of textures from those sinkers. Perhaps their prices are what people are drawn in. The sizes are huge and nothing is over P150 (I think). If I’m going to get milk tea like for three times a week, the price of CoCo ain’t that bad.
