W Nights at Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Resorts World Manila

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is surely one of the notable steakhouses in the world. From his humble beginnings, Wolfgang Zwiener, was once a head waiter at the nationally acclaimed Peter Luger’s Steakhouse, to the establishment of the original Wolfgang’s Steakhouse back in 2004 on NYC’s Park Avenue. Now boasting nineteen locations worldwide, this leading steakhouse has become a global sensation, recognized for its perfectly prepared USDA Prime dry-aged steaks.

In 2016, the Philippines became one of the countries around the world where Wolfgang’s Steakhouse can be located and enjoyed. As of the moment, there are 3 branches in Manila: Podium Mall, BGC and Resorts World Manila. The Manila stores all has a ritual with a artisan’s flair, where the USDA Prime Black Angus meats are dry-aged on on-site to perfection, and then carved to order by our own butcher into Wolfgang’s Steakhouse signature Porterhouse, Prime New York Sirloin, Rib Eye, and Filet Mignon. The results are luxurious - meltingly tender and juicy steaks served sizzling hot with a perfectly caramelized crust.

My friends and I visited their Resorts Word branch in Newport City, Pasay for thei launch of their W Nights; which is a weekly weekend habit for their Resorts World and BGC branch starting July 13, where guest DJs will play some beats while you enjoy their wines, cocktails and food. W Nights starts from Friday to Sunday, music will be provided by with beats by DJ Matt Carbonell, DJ Jason Soong or DJ Coox Moreno and hosted by either by Alma Cala, Nico Arbo or Fran Oliva.

We didn't get to try their full meals but even the appetizers were so good. Even the Steak Crostini was out of this world good. We drank Sangria (consists of red or white wine and chopped fruit, often with other ingredients such as orange juice or brandy) and Gin Tonic (is a highball cocktail made with gin and tonic water poured over ice).

While drinking libations we had some light meals including Tuna Tartar Crostini (a bright and elegant crowd-pleasing appetizer made of freshly prepared tuna tartare with horseradish cream on crostini); Wolfgang’s Crab Cake (packed with flakes of crabmeat and is moist and well-seasoned); Steak Crostini  (USDA prime dry-aged sirloin steak with horseradish cream on crostini); Crabmeat Crostini (crabmeat with horseradish cream on crostini) and Salmon Crostini (crabmeat with horseradish cream on crostini).

The stores make sure that they keep in theme with the New York original atmosphere: intimate ambience through its Brazilian cherry wood floors, chandeliers, wood bar and mosaic tiles; the dark red motifs evoke nothing but elegance. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Philippines even have a glass-encased wine cellar with a selection of nearly 600 to 1,200 wines carrying up to 250 brand names.

If you can not wait for Friday or the weekend to come, visit them during Happy Hours from 03:00 pm - 08:00 pm and enjoy cocktails, draft beers and selected wines at special prices!
