Rosegal.com Haul 8 + Review

Hey y'all! How's everything going? Can you already feel the Summer heat? It's already March of 2018, can you believe that? And that marks the start of Summer. It has been very humid the past few days but with occasional rain showers during the night. I'm quite excited to the beach trips I'm about to take this season. Funny though, after going to bloggers foodie meetup yesterday, I spent the rest of my day watching videos of the Winter Olympics 2018 in Pyeongchang, South Korea on Youtube until today.

All in all I guess I watched around 200 Youtube videos about Adam Rippon (US Team Figure Skater), Gus Kenworthy (US Team Skier), Shaun White (US Team Snowboarder) and other Winter Olympics athletes. I just freaking love Adam Rippon and I'll do anything to be his BFF because he's so amazing and funny and good-looking! And oh Gus Kenworthy, that dude is just so hot!  I just adore how good these athletes are and their sports are mostly extreme.

While watching those Youtube videos, I sorted and edited photos and wrote blog entries. And one of them that I accomplished today is my latest haul from Rosegal. This time around I got less apparel and more knick-knacks which I've save on my wishlist for a long time. I have so many clothes already and I want to show you guys that Rosegal is more than just an online clothing store.

Btw, if you’re not familiar, Rosegal is one of the many Asian-based online shopping sites. They originally offer vintage style clothing but ventured also to contemporary fashion offering clients hundreds of styles of dresses, swimwear, jewelry, shoes, bags and other fashion-related items. Plunging Neck Overlay Leaf Print High Slit Romper
Color: White / Material: Polyester / Fabric Type: Chiffon / Fit Type: Regular / Pattern Type: Floral/Tropical / Season: Spring, Summer

I’ve already seen this style of romper a few months ago but not until I saw Alice Cooper (Betty Cooper’s mom) on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 5 wearing something like this and making such a grand entrance with “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons playing in the background, I said to myself, I got to have a romper just like that. She was so fierce in that outfit. You can watch that moment/grand entrance here:

Ain't that outfit freaking hot, sexy and head-turning or what?! So anyway, I only found something similar at Rosegal in this topical print white romper. I mean you will people with this piece, they'll think you're wearing a dress but surprise surprise it's a romper! The material used is chiffon and it is very flowy. The bell long sleeves tie at the cuffs with a string of the same fabric. What I like so much about it that it zips at the back! I'm like omg thank goodness! I've been having so much trouble wearing and removing the rompers that I've recently bought because they don't have zippers anywhere in them. So that is a plus for this romper. The bottom part is kinda short as in but good thing it is designed to look like a dress with a skirt that has a slit in the middle. As for the fit it is kinda snug around the waist and the neckline is plunging. But then again I just love this piece so much.

Female Wild Bag Shoulder Bag
Handbag Type: Crossbody bag / Style: Fashion / Gender: For Women / Pattern Type: Patchwork / Closure Type: Zipper / Main Material: PU Leather / Product size (l x w x h): 7.87 x 3.15 x 7.09 inches

I don't know why they named this bag as such but I know for sure you've seen this bag already. Yes this is a replica of the ever famous and classic style of the Celine Paris Luggage Mini Bag. The first time I saw this bag, I really liked its design, but it is very far-fetched for someone like me to buy a bag like this because the real ones would usually cost a fortune. So I'm good with the replica ones so long as it doesn’t have the label or print of the brand name. The bag came in plastic bag and then a dust bag. It was soooooo pretty! The material used for this bag are synthetic leather. The manufacturer might not have used super high-quality and luxurious leather for this bag, but I couldn't care less! It looks sturdy and that it might really last long. The appliqués and hardware (zippers, hooks etc.) are also made of good quality metal. The inside is fully-lined with pockets for your whatnots and mobile phone. I got this khaki-brown-off white color as this looks very classy and can go well with just about any outfit or color. The straps are adjustable as well.

Yeduo Romantic Small Love Marquee Sign
Material: Plastic / Power Supply: Battery / Product weight: 0.2000 kg / Product size (l x w x h): 11.61 x 3.94 x 1.57 inches

I have added this home decor in my wish list months ago without really the intent of buying it. I just find it cute and cool. I'm a sucker for anything vintage thus this marquee sign greatly appealed to me. So when I decided not to fill this haul with clothes, this is the very first non-clothing item that I added to my shopping cart. The sign is made of plastic which spells love and with round warm light bulbs scattered across the sign. It is powered by using 2 pieces of AAA batteries with a on and off switch at the back. You have to screw the battery cover back to the marquee because if you don’t, the battery will jump out of the holder. I like the faint warm light the bulbs emit and how finely made this marquee is. Check out the video below for the demo.

Color: Deep Purple / Product Notes: Without Pillow / Material: Polyester, Cotton / Pattern: Feather / Style: Accent, Decorative / Shape: Cylindrical

This is actually an accidental purchase. I was browsing the Rosegal website looking for a Mandala print mat that I can use as a beach mat. I already added one on my cart but while browsing for other stuff to buy, I saw this one and the price is cheaper. I did not read the description that it is a pillow case and not a floor mat. Only when it arrived and that when I checked my order invoice when I realized the mistake that I made. The product is pretty with its richly-colored prints and the multi-colored pom-poms that are attached to the edge of the pillowcase. It also zips at the back and with flap of the same fabric to hide the zipper. As for now I'll just keep it and will try to look for a pillow that will fit in it.

Color: Green / Product weight: 0.130kg / Product size (l x w x h): 1.38 x 1.38 x 1.57 inches / Package Contents: 6 x Candle

I just find these artificial succulent plant-shaped candles super cute. I have been wanting to have plants and flowers for my apartment for decoration but they are expensive and hard to maintain. So these are great alternatives. The candles were packed neatly and was inside a bubble-wrapped packet together with the marquee sign probably to prevent any damage to the items while in transit. They are basically just your usual tea lights only that they are way cooler and shaped like tiny cacti. I will not light them up though they will only be used for decorative purposes and will likely be included in my future (haul) flatlays.
