I have been regularly dyeing my hair since 2009 so you can imagine how damaged it is by now. I am just able to mask it through constant use of conditioner and other products just to tame it. Also my hair has gone from phases to phases of brown, blonde and ash, but majority of the time it's blonde and later ash. Just the other day, on a whim, I decided to have it dyed again, to a shade that is a little darker than I would usually have.
I went Market Market and looked for the Novelina booth where they offer free hair color application when you buy their hair dye product. It's my first time to try Novelina's hair dye and also the first time that I had it done at the mall. Because usually I would go to the salon or it's just me who dyes my hair.

It also provides a wider range of choices, from cover gray to fashion colors that comes conveniently with an easy to use bottle applicator, coloring brush and plastic gloves to make your experience complete and hassle free.
It is a Japanese formulation which gives no sting formula, no harsh odor, does not irritate skin or scalp and does not stain skin or scalp. Y'all well know that when it comes to advances in technology which encompasses beauty products, the Japanese is always advance and produce great quality products so I was really sold to it. The hair dye is also infused with Keratin by the way. Package inclusion: 60g Professional Hair Color, 2oz Developer, Hair brush and 1 Gloves.
It also contains Keratin which strengthens the hair shaft, makes hair shaft more resilient, adds shine and smoothens the hair strands. What I easily noticed was when the hairstylist Jerome was applying it on my hair he is able to easily comb my hair into the direction that he wants to; which is unlike with the other hair dye that I use the hair becomes a little coarse and so I really have a hard time combing the hair together and securing them in place. As you can see in the photo after Jerome applied all the cream, my hair was neatly combed and secured into place while we wait for the dye to take effect.
They have a washing facility at the booth too and a real shower faucet that you feel like you are in the salon too! Jerome is knowledgeable with what he does and friendly as well. The product took effect quite fast than I expected so Jerome washed it 15 minutes earlier than what is required. I love that my hair doesn’t smell like hair dye after it was blow dried. There weren't stains in my scalp, neck, ears and other places.
Novelina's Zeelke Cream Hair Color is priced at around PHP 250++ (sorry I forgot the exact price) and comes in the following shades: Natural Black, Asian Black, Brown Dark, Brown, Chestnut Brown, Golden Brown, Crimson Red and Burgundy. My current hair color before the dyeing process was a faded ash blonde with mostly orange-y tint already and I chose Brown shade and after my hair turned into a super dark ash. Which I TOTALLY LOVED! It may seem a little dark at first but may take sometime of getting used to because I have been blonde for a long time but I am completely digging my hair color. I love my new look! I feel like I look so mysterious and "sinister" hahaha! My hair also looks healthier and my officemates told me that I look younger! haha!
Novelina also offers other products which include Herbal Hair Color for those who have very sensitive skin and allergic to normal hair dyes. It contains only natural coloring ingredients. They also have a Keratin Treatment that you can use post hair dyeing or if you just want to pamper your hair. I bought the 100ml which only costs PHP 149. I will try it first to see how it fares with the other treatments that I regularly use.
